We moved our 2 children from Encinitas public schools to Pacific Ridge School (middle and high) and what a difference it has made -- small class sizes, global travel opportunities, emphasis on community volunteering, no-cut athletics, high parent involvement. Communication from the school leadership to families occurs frequently and always keeps us informed of what's ahead. Just as importantly, the teachers really get to know the kids on a first name basis and make themselves available outside of class. Highly recommend Pacific Ridge.

Very disappointed with the admissions’ staff. This school obviously only caters to and accepts a specific demographic. There is zero diversity in this school! Also, you will be lied to if applying to attend and awaiting approval for their scholarship program. I was specifically advised that the tests required are simply to place my child into a particular grade based on academic level. We spent multiple weeks going through the admissions process only to be given the run around and a “sorry, but this will not be a good fit.” It’s distasteful and appalling to get an innocent child and their parent’s hopes up. An Opportunity scholarship? What opportunity?! I’m going to use my voice to ensure that no one I know attempts to enroll their child here. A disgrace.
