We have counted on our local Bressi Ranch Boys and Girls Club to provide fun, safe and exciting summer camps for several years. They have always delivered.
This past year our Club has been a Community Hero to many families throughout the pandemic. Bressi Boys & Girls Club provides a day program that encourages friendships while maintaining social distance. It has been a lifesaver allowing kids to learn virtually but with peers! I always feel great about dropping our daughter off for the day. I know she will be cared for, helped when needed and encouraged to have fun. We are so grateful for this!

My daughter is really happy here. The staff is great. The tutoring has really helped my child with homework and other projects. She always comes home with a cool activity. Although we haven’t done the transportation I think it’s a great service to provide. They follow protocol to keep mask on, social distancing & sanitizing areas. Overall we have been very pleased with everything even during these difficult times.

They need to teach their kids how to clean up after themselves, not even five minutes of picking up trash around the park just around the Boys and Girls Club and this bag is full. Absolutely trash organization if they don't know how to keep their space clean. If they're going to take up half the park they need to clean up after themselves. I know it's the Boys and Girls Club because the portion of the park that they do not use is completely clean of any trash. This will be brought to the attention of the city.

Some of the negative reviews may be a bit short sighted if one considers the fact that 1)the staff are courteous and professional 2) the location is safe and clean and 3) the cost is very reasonable for us parents .
In addition, it would be wise to consider oneself lucky to have access to such a resource where activities (no matter how "lame") are provided, and there are other people to talk to and hang out with, as opposed to sitting around by yourself bored, with no one to talk to and nothing to do.
Wrapping up, thank you Boys and Girls Club of Bressi Ranch for the many years of quality service and kindness. We appreciate it very much!

Camps cost $150/ week. Then after you register they add a $25 each field trip fee. Now I received an email stating they will be charging my card for a membership fee of $50. So the camp is not $150, but $225.00. Not impressed so far... The other Boys n Girls Clubs were up front with their fees and crystal clear on what to expect.

Ok, let me just start off by saying that now that I’m older and I’ve reconsidered the memories and the people that this place has brought to me, I believe that, while there are some slight flaws that I still stand by the belief of, Boys and Girls club of Bressi Ranch really wasn’t that bad.
I started at the Boys and Girls Clubs in 2nd grade, at the branch that no longer exists (the portable property near la costa, I believe it was called Boys and Girls club of La Costa), and I left Boys and Girls club around 7th grade. I’m not gonna say I was the perfect kid, I was definitely a little bit of a troublemaker, but I have confidence in saying I’ve had a lot of fun at the clubs. Some of that was due to the activities and field trips, but most of it was due to staff who I’ve really connected with. While I haven’t been to the club in a while, some of the staff that I remember are Eddie, Leia, Spencer, Connor and Brody, Jessica, Jarred and Jim. The reason that I had really bonded with all of these staff is because they weren’t really all stuck up and they knew how to connect to the kids. When they did those activities and rotations (rotations I was not a fan of), even they made the worst of them fun. Without these slightly laid back staff, I would’ve not been able to enjoy as much as I can say now.
Let’s talk real quick about activities. I’m guessing not much has changed since I was there. If I could make a suggestion in saying: PLEASE create a program where kids like me can suggest what they want to do within reason. The whole point of the Boys and Girls clubs seems to be just a daycare. But if we can relax the staff a little bit and let the kids choose what they want to do, not just the two activities that you want them to do, it would probably mean the world to some kids who don’t really enjoy much that they do. Although, there would have to be restrictions on what they chose because some of the activities that we didn’t have the choice to do were actually really fun (I’m looking at you, tinfoil boats and pennies!).
Overall, without this place, I probably wouldn’t have been as social as people and I have to say, it has helped me develop as a person. I appreciate the years I’ve been here, and, who knows. Maybe I’ll visit while I still can. I rate the Boys and Girls Club of Bressi Ranch a 4 out of 5, for the flaws, for the staff, for the activities, for the friends and for the memories.

We have had a very positive experience here and most of the staff is very friendly and my kids say they are treated well. Reading through the reviews, it's clear that most of the negative reviews are from teenagers. Our children are elementary age so I can't comment on the teen rooms, etc.

My kids had a great experience there. The staff was wonderful and the activities kept the kids engaged. I will be sending my kids there again next year. A huge thanks to the great team.
