They are the dining servicer for my campus and the food is absolutely horrid. They made us pay almost 600$ more a semester for food that is barely edible. On top of that, they obsess over vegetarian options which is normally just different assortments of beans and think that it is amazing…. This whole company should shut down

Google “chartwells food service lawsuit”.
Everyone on campus knows they give people food poisoning REGULARLY and the meal plans are designed to scam you. The food is overpriced and disgusting, and rotting half the time.

Awful. I've received raw chicken on more than one occasion. They claim their food is healthy, it is not. Health does not come from burgers, fries, fried food and a total lack of vegetables. The prices are insane for the amount and quality of food given. It is disgraceful that high schools and universities continue to use this service to portray the false narrative that they care for their students. Shame on this company, and shame on those who allow it into their schools.

I hate that I'm forced to pay thousands of dollars every year at college to be fed this sorry excuse for food. Do the workers not see the slop they're putting out on the buffet? Do they also know that there's more seasonings and spices than salt and pepper? That is if they even use any. I always seem to be hungry whenever I leave the dining hall and it's probably because the food has no real nutrition. It's all just empty calories. The food this company serves is equivalent to plankton's holographic meatloaf. In fact I prefer the holographic meatloaf. The real reason why college students are broke is because we're spending all our money on door dash so we don't have to eat this trash.

For years… and I mean for many long years, I have had to excruciatingly eat Chartwells. Not only through middle school, not only high school, but even at the University of Miami. I have grown to despise everything that this company makes when it comes to food. Their ingredients are exceptionally low quality, pretty much on par with dog food. The chicken is either gray, tough, or straight up raw. Pasta either cracks your teeth or is so white you can barely chew it. Multiple times I have woken up in the morning to heinously destroy my toilet. I’ve vomited on multiple occasions due to both my high school cafeteria and dining halls. Chartwells is the reason for my poor eating habits. If only they just made some nutritious, mediocre food. But that’s too much to ask for, I guess. You see this company working for your dining hall or caf, run. Run far far away and never ingest any of this potently pasteurized, artificial meat and vegetables.

Having to eat Chartwells every day has made me hate my life. Everything is super overpriced and the food is inedible. I mean... $8 for cookies?! You can't make this stuff up. The rice is so crunchy and hard it almost breaks your teeth. The soup is so watered down and it just sits there all week. I legitimately think prison food would be better than Chartwells. The breakfast sandwiches are kinda fire tho.

If you're a university professional looking into contracting them, runaway. They routinely upcharge at least 200-500% for food you could get made better and cheaper from a local restaurant.

Ive had better meals at an elementary school and at a soup kitchen. The quality of the food is so bad that they try to make it look appealing but thats all this food is, eye candy. You would rather buy yourself a bowl of fake assorted fruits to look at than even attempt to bite into one of these atrocities they call food.
