A few years ago my husband was invited to teach gymnastics classes at Balas Montessori preschool. He was impressed with the program so When it came time for our son to go to preschool that's where we put him. Our son has been attending Balas for the last year and his growth has been remarkable. He loves his teachers, and so do I.

Balas has the most amazing staff! I’m so thankful for them! My son was so happy there ! He was 3 when he went there, he is almost 10 now and whenever we see run into someone from Balas , they still remember him. They are more then just teachers and staff at the school, they treat the children like family! I loved how supportive they are to the parents as well! I had a major surgery when my son was attending school there. They cared so much and kept in touch with me while I was healing! My son loves school now and I know it was because he got a great start at Balas !!

My son Elijah came to this school when he was 4! The staff here loved him and still do! He is 10 now and learned how to love school and how to socialize. He learned how to be himself no matter what as well! I knew little about Montessori philosophy and after he attended Balas I knew it was what he needed! Shannon Balas is the owner and she as well as her teachers are loving, positive, communicative, and supportive of all their students and families!! Thanks for making a difference in Elijah’s life!!!

My children have greatly benefited from the loving and patient teachings of both Mrs. Balas and Mrs. Finder. Montessori was the perfect start for my kids to a long life of loving to learn. Both of my children are now in college and they (and my husband and I) have only the best memories of these two amazing women and the Montessori method of teaching. It is because of the strong foundation laid by Mrs. Balas and Mrs. Finder that my children have been able to achieve the academic and personal success they currently enjoy.

He has learned a lot and he is pretty well prepared for kindergarten now. He doesn’t love to leave home and drags his feet every morning before school, but by the end of the day he’s always all smiles!

My son has been going there since he was 2 years old. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The classrooms, the teachers, the support staff, activities, discipline, parent engagement, learning opportunities are just the few of many strengths of this school. It grooms kids overall- socially and academically. My son will be moving to public school and I don’t know who will miss this place more, me or my son?. Best choice if you want to start your kid on Montessori discipline.

Balas Montessori is by far the best choice for education for your little ones. The staff is very helpful and the teachers are so caring and really take the time to invest in each child in their class.
