We called LM after connecting with a tutor who was familiar with your program. Even though it was just the beginning of the summer, we were in for an assessment right away. And within days we were presented with a thorough explanation of our son's reading strengths and challenges.

LM then recommended a customized plan, and while it was without question a significant investment, we decided to give it a go. They worked our kiddo into a schedule that accommodated our summer plans.

While most of the kids at LM seemed to skew younger, many of the instructors (Loren and Neil and Alexandra in particular) quickly adapted to our son's age difference (he's 13), and connected with him in a way that kept him engaged. This is no small feat - given that our son has long told himself that he hates reading, and that this was going to require him to read for several hours a day, five days a week, in the middle of his summer time. But he ended up reporting that this wasn't nearly as painful as he thought it would be, and felt encouraged by the progress he was making.

When we received his follow-up assessment and learned that our son's reading comprehension had jumped from the 16th to the 95th percentile in just a few weeks, we were blown away. We never could have imagined such a massive leap in such a short period of time.

My son was apprehensive about reading. His confidence soared in this program. Kind, encouraging teachers and personalized instruction made a world of difference. It was such a positive experience for him and I am so excited to see his confidence continue to grow as school begins.

Expensive ,like $ 132.00/ hour ,effectiveness depends on the experience of the tutor and the team working with your child ,my adviced is be present at least in 5 or 6 sessions and see how the tutor works with your child ,a big problem in this place is the constant hiring of new tutors ,so if you get someone that is in training chances are that you child is not getting any benefit ,The method is very good but the human factor plays a big role ...most kids see the benefits but be prepared to spent a little fortune ,I paid almost 28,000 for 200 hours .
