I've been going here for 4 years. You take a Math as well as a reading and comprehension test. The scores are averaged with an interview score and then you are placed on a list. They take from the top down until all spots have been filled.

I was told that I needed to take an entrance exam before entering into apprentice program(HVAC/R). They wont tell you what kind of test its going to be or what materials to study or how to prepare yourself. if you apply for a job @ CIA or FBI they'll tell you what to study and how to get ready, but here it's like they don't want you at all. I took the test and I swear to god, majority(over 90%) of the questions had nothing to do with HVAC/R or Electrical. I also have to mention that I have an EPA UNIVERSAL license too. I failed their exam, but was able to get a great job the next week($35/HR).
JJATC = Its a joke. Don't waste your time going here.
