sure i'm in the "wrong", i was a couple of weeks late renewing my yearly parking permit, i was distracted by getting ready for the students. just to park in the very very empty lots here on the westside. there is no reason for us to even have permits here in the first place but i digress. so on '9-11' aka 11SEP24 of all days they give a combat veteran plate's a ticket. maybe now they will have enough money to open both gates to the campus so that i don't have to drive to the other side? i think i will be taking that early retirement next year after all. its not like there is shortage of STEM instructors or anything. included is a picture of the parking lot at the time of the ticket

This school is very suspicious when it comes to financial stuff. They soaked up my whole financial aid refund after I graduated that I was supposed to get and I was told I would get it and then called again when it didn’t show up and they said I wasn’t eligible for it the whole time which I immediately called and confirmed I was supposed to get it with FAFSA. Now they have dropped my gpa below the necessary gradepoint after I had an issue with an online exam because the instructor failed me for wearing a hat and tanked my gpa and I never got to retake the exam. Now I am suspended from financial aid because of said gpa despite having all As and Bs and it seems all to convenient for them to keep pulling stunts like this. I have not had a normal semester from this school in terms of financial stuff. There’s always some catch where they try to steal your fafsa money and not let you know and pretend they didn’t know anything about it. They also registered me for four classes after I withdrew and didn’t give me any notification the classes were going on and I ended up owing money for classes I had no knowledge of taking. This school is a financial aid scam with half par teachers which most do not even use their own curriculum and have warped websites with passwords to get in that arnt associated with the school itself and the grading system seems super favored towards certain students. I was harassed by another student on my school email because of a said class with a separate website to log into for class so there was almost no protection when I reported the student because it wasn’t on a school website. GO ELSEWHERE FOR AN ONLINE DEGREE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY OWED TO YOU THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GET.

Update: since posting this review they wrongfully dropped my classes. I am a veteran and I signed the semester hold form but my classes were dropped anyway. I have emailed the Dean of Students regarding all of this so we will see what they say as I have records of everything they have done. I also had trouble receiving a book from the bookstore for a class, when it was not delivered to the correct address they laughed at me. I have had a number of books go missing from this school as well after ordering. They did resend it a week after refusing to give me a tracking number and the girl laughed at me on the phone so I had to go buy the book out of pocket. Class was dropped so I guess I just have an extra book for a class I don’t have. I have email records of all of this as well.

Excellent community college. All the instructors were highly knowledgeable in their fields of study and very helpful. The campus has everything a student needs to succeed; tutors, computer labs, library, study areas/rooms, cafeteria, counseling, and a food pantry. The Academic Advisers were helpful in picking an area of study and classes. Met a lot of bright students while attending. With the Lottery and Opportunity Scholarships available i don’t see reason not to attend and learn something. I would highly recommend this college to anyone.

I spent two days here with students, faculty deans, and others supporting geotechnologies on campus. The facilities are great. The students are wonderful, and the instructors are dedicated and visionary.

My very first time coming into student services and it was not welcoming at all…
I had 1 person who seemed to be happy while the others made me feel as if I was a bother.. not really what I expected for my first time as I have ZERO clue where to go and what I am doing. I guess this is Welcome to CNM…

The online classes are ran by teachers who couldn't care less to be there. Good look if you need any assistance. They run multiple classes at a time and you end up with cookie cutter school work. Also the fact that CNM decides on who gets federal and local scholarships should be looked into. They have power over peoples futures and they shouldn't. It's almost a scam that students don't qualify for the New Mexico OS based on decisions CNM gets to make.

The online program is very easy to navigate and everyone is very helpful. I recommend starting at CNM and eventually transferring to a 4 year as a way to save money and ease into the life of a college student

Be sure to read the guidelines before going in and you will not have any issues every department hapartments has wonderful people there to answer your questions or help you with your needs.. I myself am actually disabled and go to school for for film on a scholarship for disabled individuals and I have had amazing support the entire way through Not only that but the Dean the entire staff is really great and now the campus has improved to the Overall fuel of the campus it's a nice place to be to hang out and and they have made plenty of spaces where students can actually be even when between classes or doing homework doing homework etc. There are a number of labs where you can use the latest technology and the latest software often So you really have many options and options and I would recommend CNM I graduated with 2 of my degrees and I am working on one more and I have been to UNM but CNN has much more intimate classes and not only that tleave that that I find the quality he is better as well Instead of quantity being focused on quality is focused on so you will have some amazing professors. Who definitely do not get paid enough for what they're doing in fact the entire staff really is underpaid for what they do but as far as everything with the campus goes I would recommend that I would recommend that I would recommend looking up the website so you know where you're going if you're looking for something in particular you'll be able to find that rather easily through the website and you can also chat with someone if you need to. You can find help with everything from Career advancement job place manic cetera to next Saturday to financial aid and so on. The new buildings and the additions and renovations to the other buildings at the main campus are top notch and I really loved being at the school I'm disappointed that disappointed that I have to move to a 4 year school it's been a honor.
