Steve taught me , not just how to fly a paraglider but also how to be a intuitive, aware pilot. He taught how to understand the intricacies of flying a wing and how to make decisions about my own level of training and experience .To look at the entire situation to make good decisions regarding the site, the weather and each situation. Now after 3 months and launching at sites across the west coast and Canada I realize how important those lessons were to help me be safe and enjoy my new sport.Thank you Steve for being thorough and conscientious. Job well done.

I'm not even his student, but Stephen has helped me tremendously in my flying by pointing out what he observes me doing at the LZ and gives excellent feedback. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as an instructor, and although I have already paid for unlimited lessons from another instructor I plan to consult with Stephen and utilize him in my growth as a pilot in the future. He truly cares about transmitting his knowledge in flying to his students (and even not his students, such as myself) and it really shows. If you want to get better and can handle the critiquing, he'll help you excel rapidly.

Stephen is an incredibly accomplished pilot and has made learning paragliding very streamlined. I've been flying for a year now and thank the heavens for my training. DON'T TRY TO LEARN FROM YOUTUBE - everyone I've spoken to who is 'self-taught' has an injury in their history. (The few that still fly) Also, Stephen is based out of Andy Jackson Flight Park. Once you've learned here, other sites you visit are usually much easier. (for your pilot rating that is) Steve's lessons are worth many many times what he charges - you won't reget it. Build good habits from the start.

Whether you want to learn to fly/paraglide on your own or take a tandem, Stephen (of Neverland Paragliding) is one of the most attentive, fair-priced and caring paragliding instructors and tandem pilots around. He gives clear instructions, makes sure you understand what's being taught, and covers not only kiting and flying, but also the theory behind flying for a deeper understanding of aerodynamics. With him, you definitely get more than what you paid for. You can show up early in the morning not knowing anything about paragliding and leave in the evening having had your very first solo flight! He'll make sure you feel confident and comfortable before taking that first leap.

Six of my family members (including myself) have taken tandem flights with him and loved it! My dad and I are learning from him to this day. He's a wealth of information and extremely experienced. He's always making sure that his students make the safest decisions. Can't recommend him enough!

I flew down all the way from ak for classes and it was worth every bit of it. I wouldn't be doing what I do today if it wasn't for them. Great safe instruction and I plan to return for more. Thanks!

Stephen is such a talented paraglider and paramotoring instructor. I first met Stephen about a year and half ago when I decided to get my P-2 rating. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and genuinely concerned about my safety. While many others are quick to move up to advanced gliders, Stephen preaches that you can accomplish the same results with proper technique, while staying safe. That's why I bought a A-rated wing, the Mojo 5. Another of Stephen's students, Jeremy, has the same A-rated wing and is now shredding the skies with monster wing overs, barrel rolls, and SATs.

Stephen takes the time to understand his students' needs, but does rightly push back when a student (meaning me) tries to push too quickly. I have total confidence in his assessment of my skills and value all of his input, even when it stings a bit. I know he genuinely wants me to succeed, but he will not compromise safely. I trust his skills and decision-making to the point that we fly acro in tandem. I take comfort in knowing that he is ready to identify and correct any error I commit. His comprehension of acro aerodynamics, proper techniques, and pitfalls are unrivaled.

Stephen pushes the boundaries of what can be accomplished with such flair. Yet, I have never seen such a safety conscious mind. When throwing acro he himself has a three-reserve system! When we paramotored together at the Salton Sea, he did acro moves that no one would attempt. I’m so glad he is my acro and P-3 instructor! Total confidence and respect. I can't say enough good things about him. ✊?

In short - I highly recommend NeverLand Paragliding School!

Stephen is very experienced and knowledgable instructor with refined sense of humor. He likes to teach and he does it very well. Stephen could point you out what was right or wrong in small details, something that could be unnoticed for other pilots. He is a good person with his own character, which I respect. Apart from paragliding Stephen is very passionate about healthy lifestyle and I appreciate him a ton for all information he gave me.

I know Steven very well .I have my own story about learning to fly .I assure you it took more than a 4 hr drive .I don't know this Steven King guy I have never seen him at the LZ .I just know he posted a negative wave because flying is counter intuitive .What a raw beginner thinks is not the way it really is . I wonder if he ever did learn how to fly ? Learning to fly is similar to learning how to surf ! The conditions dictate. There is no magic button . So what I am thinking about Steven Kings post is simple. Don't lesson to a raw beginners judgemental bash.Lesson to students that graduated opinion. Learning how to fly was the best thing that ever happened to me because you learn how to release all of the unimportant negative things in life .AKA b.s.. So I an telling you the reader get dedicated to flying learn with respect or pack it up and go home !! The more you learn about flying the more you know how much you did not know in the first place .So here is my advice SHUT UP AND FLY .the stress of life and the need to complain will disperse. Guys fly because of the dealing of freedom. And girls fly because of the beauty. Chalange and defeat your fears !love and respect your people !take care of business.! And enjoy life every time you get a chance .Because every moment we live is parishes once gone it's gone forever . Learn with respect and never stop learning .Kels
