Busy Bee daycare was wonderful. My child was there since he was a baby all the way to two years old. He was always happy and well taken care of. Elva has great communication with parents and is always so kind and positive. Busy bees helped me feel reassured when having to go back to work. I will always recommend Busy bees daycare ❤️

Elva was the best babysitter I ever had for my son and she was the first daycare I had checked out when trying to find daycare for my son when I was needing to go back to work. Her personality when I first met her was very welcoming and safe. My son grew to love Elva and would even refer her as “My Elva”. She was very understanding when I was late (which wasn’t often) and even worked with me when I needed my start and end hours to change when I had appointments or classes. However, due to unfortunate circumstances with my living situation, I had to move and VERY VERY VERY SADLY! Had to pull my son out. Breaks my heart to leave Elva, she even became a good friend who I was able to talk to when I needed to vent. 100/10 for this daycare! I had been with her for about 2 years I believe. Going to Miss Elva🩷

Bringing your kids to someone else to watch is never an easy thing for any parent. Elva truly took the time to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and gave us updates any time we asked. Our two kids were in her care for about a year, and it was the best thing for our girls and our peace of mind. She was up front, honest, and gave plenty of notice if our kids got hurt or weren't feeling well. Our girls love Elva and their friends they made there. We suggest Elva and Little Buzy Beez Daycare to anyone who asks!

11/14/21 EDIT: Had to change 5 stars to 2. We saved a spot for ~four months, went one day, and were told baby did great. They had to close the next, then we were told we weren't ready and
asking the same questions. The only thing I asked twice was how many kids had croup when they closed after our first day. We weren't communicating a ton, a phone call in August to reconnect and confirm a start, and texts mostly about them having to close for COVID the week we started, plus for croup (I was understanding/supportive for both closures, it happens). It was a nice call, I don't think long, and I know I asked then and via text occasionally making sure I wasn't keeping her too much or at a bad time.

I think I offended her by asking about how many kids had croup, and by asking when she went to a large license (we expected 8 kids max, but showed up and found out it was 14 max).

I could see people still benefiting greatly from her care. The kids seemed happy and calm and that's saying a lot at that age. But not a great experience for us.

Not a client, but if you are looking for a daycare, just know Elva is very helpful. Her spot ended up filling up before we decided, but she was a great communicator about that risk. She anticipated a lot of questions we did - and didn't - have during the tour, and had thoughtful answers. I love that she has a safe outdoor area, and that there's an easily gated-off, bigger sized space inside. She just contacted me weeks later to let me know about another place opening up, which seemed like an above and beyond kind of move, so I'm doing the review despite not being a client.

Initially we had great experience at the daycare; unfortunately, our disagreement started about 7 months later when daycare was closed 2-3 times a month with few hour notice. We would pay a month in advance and closed daycare hours where never deducted, so politely we stated that we will not pay for the days that daycare was closed. Therefore, Elva told us that we were late to pick up our daughter few months back and she never charged us for late hours so now we will have to pay $10/5min. We did tell her that according to the contract we need to pay $5/5min; Elva stated that: "well now the price went up". She also added that she fed our daughter lunch when it did not belong to her. It was news to us, since only after 7months of daycare she told us that lunch did not belong to her. Money is money, but the saddest part was when she told us she is letting us go, the last day of our daughter’s daycare, Elva with her back turned at our daughter said: "good luck" and even didn't say goodbye. Our daughter wasn't even two years old but truly liked Elva, would always run to her and hug her. It was heartless of Elva to behave that way.

This was an outstanding daycare. My daughter went thru two CDH daycares and was not adjusting wellwell u arriving at Buzy beez. Elva somehow worked out the magic with my daughter. My daughter loved this daycare, she was always happy to be there and leaving this daycare due to a city move was one the hardest desicions. I highly recommend this day care to anyone who wants their children to be happy at daycare. Highly recommended!!!
