The teacher that taught my granddaughter in 3rd and 4th grades was not what I believe to be a good Christian. She lied and said inappropriate things to the children. She was also on her phone constantly in classroom, while ignoring children that needed help. Her own children were constantly in the classroom instead of being in their own classrooms. When I tried to talk to her about anything relating to classroom issues she would become offensive and overly emotional. She couldn’t control the students that acted out, which made the classroom severely chaotic. When I took my concerns to the principal everything got worse, he made excuses for her and then I noticed that other staff were talking about me and my granddaughter. I found out that she had no degree in teaching. All this and more was emotionally hurtful to my granddaughter.

This place is a joke and the pastor is more about money then anything else. He is always trying to raise up the prices. He tells my daughter one price and myself another. I been trying to get my money back for the registration 2020 school year. It’s always we will call you back. Haven’t heard back from him yet.

지금이 2019년이니까 5년전쯤에 이 곳에서 약 3주동안 배우고, 체험하고, 놀고 그랬어요. 제가 했던 홈스테이 분들 너무 착하시고 주소도 알려주셨었는데 제가 오는길에 그걸 잃어버려서 너무 아쉬워요 흑흑... 거기에 지금도 계실지 모르지만 저랑 이름이 똑같았던 Sarah선생님이 계셨어요. 아무래도 이름이 똑같아서 그런지 잘 기억이 남더라구요 모든 분들이 너무나도 착하게 친절하게 대해주셔서 처음 가봤던 미국에 대한 편견을 싹 지워버릴 수 있었던 것 같아요. 수업을 할 때에도 저와 나이대가 비슷하거나 같은 현지인 친구와 함께 짝을 지어 수업을 했었는데 어찌나 재밌었는지ㅜㅜ 2년정도만 더 버티면 성인인데, 대학 가기 전에라도 한 번 더 꼭 뵙고 싶은 마음이 너무 간절해요ㅠㅠ 처음 갔을 때 환영 파티도 열어주고 얼마나 좋았는지요! 다만 한국분들은 기독교가 아니시라면 조금 힘들수도 있어요 수업과목에 예수와 관련된 책을 때로 받아 수업을 듣는다거나 학교 옆에 있는 교회에 가서 목사님을 뵙고 해야 하는 과정이 저는 그저 어린 마음에 신날 뿐이였는데 지금 생각해보면 다른 종교를 믿으시는 분들은 조금 스트레스일 수도 있겠다 싶어요 ;ㅅ; 꼭 어떻게든 기회를 만들어 10년 안에는 다시 한 번 찾아가 모두 인사드리고 함께 있다 오고 싶어요~♡~♡!
