I signed up 6 months ago and never looked back. One of the best choices I made. This academy ZMA, the instructors Master Zai, Zaid and Iesa are very supportive and well detailed in instructing the skills and techniques. The atmosphere has always been professional. Im proud and very lucky to be able to train at such a great academy. I already received my 1st belt promotion recently for Adult Jiu Jitsu and I can’t believe the difference between me from the first time I stepped on the mat and now more improved in playing this art. Honestly speaking I’m more at ease and confident now in rolling with anyone at the age of 50. Thank you ZMA for letting my inner beast out inside me.

My daughter attended ZMA for years and we always had a great experience. We even held one of her birthday parties there and all the kids had a great time! A few even signed up for lessons.
The staff are always kind & helpful while also keeping the kids focused. I would highly recommend ZMA.

Both of our kids (6 and 4) attend ZMA and love it! The instructors are so good with the kids - they make it fun but also keep the kids focused and learning. Everyone is friendly and the dojo is very clean. We were referred by a friend and are so glad we found this place!

Zai Marital Arts is the best thing that has happened to my son. My son began when he couldn’t do any steps and had no interest. The instructors always take their time to work with every kid and encourage them in every step. My son has tremendously improved and loves this place. The one on one attention he gets from the instructors and the love they have for every kid has made my boy brave and confident in all he does. They teach discipline and love to these kids and they o ow every kid by name. I love zai Marital arts and I encourage you to try them.

Very sad that you closed Reno location. It was the best 3 years with you! Richard, still miss all the teachers and the classes. We tried other locations and didn't work out for us, so we switched to play basketball and soccer ⚽

Convenient location in Livermore (@ 24 Hrs Fitness). Sensei Zaid is young and energetic, he displays and teaches a good technique. My younger son recently joined the academy and he absolutely loves his classes.

*Updated Review: Fantastic teachers. Great location. They no longer teach Kung Fu. It is more of a mix of various martial arts.

can’t say enough good things about Zai Academy. The trainers are so talented, knowledgeable, and passionate. My son has been attending the academy for awhile now and he looks forward to every class! I love staying to see for myself how much he’s developed, this is all due to the amazing staff! Great work!!
