My children have been going to this Kumon center for math instruction for many years. It is a great supplement to the math they learn at school. I’m not a huge fan of common core math and while they do have to learn that method in school, Kumon offers students the opportunity to also learn more efficient methods for solving, simplifying, factoring, reducing etc. My students take Kumon math to get ahead and to learn math concepts before they are covered in school. The instructor, Hua, holds kids accountable for homework and challenges them to think critically. She truly wants your child to excel and if there ever are problem spots on concepts, it’s ‘let’s review this again’ and she will work with your child to determine where the confusion lies. I very much appreciate all the educational support this Kumon center provides my children.

My son went to this center for math and it helped him do well in math at school. Ms. Hua is a very attentive, hard-working and excellent teacher. She always listens to parent and child concerns/requests and does her best to work with you. I highly recommend this center and Ms. Hua's tutorial.

Kumon has taken our son back to the basics in math in order to reestablish a better foundation for it. He has improved greatly and has more confidence in his math class at school. Hua has continued to reach out if he misses a session, to keep him accountable to his learning process. She and the other instructors are extremely helpful!

I worked there for 2 years as an assistant manager, it was a good experience and I gained alot of good skills that helped me on long run. As long as you do what you are suppose to do and let your manager know what's going in the center, you are on a good spot. The manger is pretty flexible about the workload and time, as long as you communicate with her everything should be good. Definitely recommend for high school students.
