The process could be frustrating, but I’ve already noticed the impact Kumon has made in my child’s education. My son has been in Kumon program for 3 years now. With the daily practice, regardless of the accuracy, he has improved his attention span. He’s been getting the compliments from his school teachers that he’s always on task and is able to get work done with minimal help. Kumon has helped to push him to expand the knowledge above his grade level. Thus, school work always seems easy to him. The result from the diagnostic test also shows that he has exceeded what’s expected for his level. His self-confidence has definitely increased. The center director, Ms. Hsieh, is very friendly and easy to talk with. She takes the time to host the conference to go over my child’s progress, which is very helpful for me to better understand where my son stands. Overall, I am glad that we are in Kumon!

My son has attended for 6 months and has not improved. My son is absolutely miserable. My son only receives packets as homework with no guidance on how to complete. This has been the worst experience ever and has made my son even more insecure regarding academics. We signed a year agreement and have thrown away so much $ for services unrendered. Cynthia continues to harass our family to continue to pay for another 6 months even though our child no longer attends the center.

I have two young boys who have attended this Kumon center for 4 years. The director here has always been helpful and respectful and is deeply invested in having the children succeed. The boys put in the time and effort, the director and staff guide them and encourage them, and as a result they are far ahead of the educational standards for their age. It has made their daily schoolwork much easier for them. Overall I am very pleased with this center and the Kumon program.
