This place helped save my life. I'm a recent graduate of the Stockton Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation center, and I was here for a 30-day preprogram. Best experience I had. All the staff loved on me. I thank God for this place...if you need help, this is the place.

Called looking for shelter for my family and I and they said that my wife and I would have to be separated and she could go into the women's side with all four of our kids she just had our youngest on September 15th of 2023 and the babies less than 30 hours old she cannot handle all four of our children by herself and when we told them that they said yeah they had a spot but it was only for single fathers with children or single mothers with children and yet they're listed as a family shelter. How can a family be a family without a mom and a dad or at least two parents in the household.

The staff are very nice here. I get my mail here . It's a little hard for me to get it but my husband gets his easily. The women are very busy with clients and in meetings and etc. So it's hard . I just wish they would keep all the mail up front with the gentlemen that are always there. It would be so nice. But I understand that it is a privaledge to be able to get my mail there so I'm not complaining. They really are very sweet.

Only use this shelter as a last result.! They discriminate against those with disabilities.The head of the shelter took my plate as I was eating and threw what was on my plate into my lap yelling me to get out because I had my service dog with me.
