Great place. Lots of workout activities plus hot tub outside. Fair discount plans for students, alumni, military, veterans (via a non-profit)... I would recommend that a deeper discount be offered to those who are full-time up the mountain, and who can only visit perhaps under 4-6x/mo. Too bad there pool isn't enclosed for winter months.

This place is more of a community/rec center than a typical gym. There are already lots of positive reviews on Google so I'll start off with reasons why you might NOT want to come here:

-Terrible weight room often overcrowded from 5pm to 8pm. Outdated, limited equipment. If you are at least semi-serious about lifting weights, you are better off at any other commercial gym.
-If you are not affiliated with Loma Linda, membership is expensive. If you are using the full extent of all the facilities though, it's still decent value.
-Table tennis and tennis courts are rarely ever available and seem to be monopolized by a few groups of regulars that are always there.
-Limited weekend hours. I get they close for Sabbath but I wish they could open just a bit longer on Friday and also bring back the later hours on Sunday.

To be fair, here are the great things about this place:

-Nice community of members and friendly staff. People are pretty considerate about wiping off equipment
-Wide variety of sports and facilities available
-Great pool especially for lap swimming (gets overcrowded in the summer because of all the kids programs though). Also the spa/jacuzzi tends to get crowded too.
-Great pickle ball community (in fact this seems like the only thing the Drayson Center cares about improving)
-Group fitness classes are included as a part of the membership

The gym and rec center of the Loma Linda University and Medical Center offers a complete gym workout and sports activities including outdoor lap pool, running track, tennis court, sand volleyball and indoor basketball court. Also provides a lot of exercise classes from novice to advance levels. Lockers, showers and dry sauna are onsite. Monthly membership may be available to non-students/employees od LLUC. It is the perfect venue if you care for your fitness and physical well being.

Spent time 7 am to 2 pm on Sunday. Enjoyed the badminton courts, tennis courts, table tennis and swimming to end the day. Best place for singles, couples and family who loves sports and activities

What an awesome gym! Moved into the area and got a membership here. it’s very nice, well-maintained, and has all the exercise machinery and sports you need to stay healthy. I appreciate how it services the Loma Linda community and I often see many community members come here for exercise. I find it nice that it is helping people stay fit and living up to its name in the blue zone

It’s amazing so beautiful clean atmosphere fully carpeted,so many machines in gym , beautiful clean pool ,for first time in life enjoyed pool exercises, attended lecture on aging and dementia,bathrooms so clean thanks to dr Drayon and his wife!great couple so generous and far sighted!

Best thing about drayson is that they always have sanitizing wipes which are used to clean the surfaces of gym equipment.

I went to my brother Kody’s graduation. It’s a really nice school. It was very organized from the parking to entering to watch the graduation. There was plenty of seating and there was plenty of parking. He whole event went very smoothly because everyone was on point. The location is clean and well taken care of.
