It’s been a great experience with my daughter enrolled in both Math and English at Kumon center in Francisco Village, El Dorado Hills. She was evaluated when she came in and started at I would say the right level and she has never looked back. Kumon levels are very comprehensive and well structured to nurture the discipline and rhythm the kids need to succeed. There is still some level of parent involvement needed at home to help enforce the principles Kumon is trying to instill in your kids. It’s pretty effective I think. I am glad we have access to a Kumon center in our community. It definitely helps kids learn the basics and core of both math and English to prepare them ahead of school so that they when they get to high school they can prepare for college well in advance. Ms. Atya, the owner and director of the center herself has a PhD. No wonder why such a program succeeds.

No pain, no gain! I may be old fashioned, but that old adage is true for a reason. My two daughters did Kumon classes here for a little over two years. They were in 2nd and 4th grade and they were struggling in Math. (Read way below grade level post Covid.) Even though they complained about their worksheets, we stuck with it and now, two years later, they are back to grade level and much more confident. I recommend this place—Ms. Atya, Ms. Jen are accommodating and helpful! The young tutors are friendly and my kids enjoyed working with them too.

Nidhi was enrolled in Kumon when she was 7 years old and studying in 2nd grade. The first thing that impressed me was the professionalism and warmth of the staff. Per Nidhi, She likes the most of kumon is it gives good confidence level at school and with less effort to gain advance knowledge. Mrs. Atya, is always ready for any help irrespective of time and schedule and made Math program an enjoyable and interesting subject for my daughter.
