The Kumon at Los Alamitos has been an absolute best, I highly recommend them! It’s a wonderful place for kids to learn. Naomi and her staff are wonderful educators, they are personable, great mentors to kids, very hands on and very patient with them.
Kumon gave our two kids great foundation in Math and Reading. My daughter started at age 3 and my son at age 2, they both excel on each subject above their grade level and I credit Kumon for getting them here. My Daughter is now in 8th grade and she is in Advance Placement level classes, my son also exceed expectation from his teacher in reading. Kumon has been a valuable investment for our kids education and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Both my girls go to Miss Naomi's Kumon Center and absolutely love it. My oldest, who is 9, has been going for about 5 years. My youngest, who is 5, just started about 6 months ago. Miss Naomi and her staff have helped both of them continue to excel in math. Miss Naomi is very involved in their learning and goal setting, allowing for my girls to move up the math ladder at a consistent and challenging pace. Because of this, they both have gained confidence, which transfers over to school.

My 5 year old, Maxx, has been attending Kumon of Los Alamitos for 3 years now. We enrolled him in Jan 2015 when he was just 2 years and 9 months old. Maxx was eager to begin the Kumon Program as, at that time, his older brother Aeon and older sister Trinity (11 and 14, respectively) had been attending Kumon for about 7 years. So since Maxx was born, he had watched his siblings work on Kumon, and waited patiently for them to finish during their Center days.

As soon as we thought he was mature enough, focused enough, we had him tested and Ms Naomi was blown away by his readiness to begin the program. It's been three years and Maxx is now in kindergarten, but studying math and reading far ahead of his peers!

Kallen, his younger brother who will be turning 3 in April, is not quite ready to begin Kumon - his focus and maturity level is not quite like Maxx's when Maxx was his age (all kids are different!), but we're hoping by the summer, we'll be able to enroll him at Ms Naomi's Kumon Center.

All in all, my kids have been attending Ms Naomi's Kumon Center since we moved to Cypress 4 1/2 years ago. Ms Naomi and her staff have all been wonderful! Guiding, mentoring, encouraging, praising the kids along the way! Her Kumon Center is clean, organized and offers a great learning environment for her students, while also providing a comfortable waiting area for parents and siblings. There is also abundant parking at this new location - so that's not an issue at all as one of the other reviews had mentioned 🙂

I highly recommend enrolling your children in the Kumon Program! Why not give them the best jump start in their academic career

We are very happy with our decision to enroll our 5 yr old at Kumon Los Alamitos. Ms. Naomi and her staff are very professional and supportive of our daughter and she is doing well.

Kumon is a good system but parents still got to put a lot of work in. For the money I was surprised. But Kumon is a proven system.
