It was a very lengthy eligability process, but once my son became eligible, he was assigned a worker within 2 weeks. We had out initial assessment with Dani at HRC Long Beach just 3 days ago. She is awesome! She was very informative. She answered all of my questions and followed up with me with even more information and resources. It's only been 3 days! I can honestly say that the long wait was definitely worth it. I now feel supported and relieved. I'm very optimistic about the near future working with the regional center. I have had such a great experience with my case worker and services provided over the last year. They are currently helping my son to be 3 years old transition out of his program and start with LBUSD.

I wish I could pick zero stars!

I've been dealing with this place for 2 years now & to be honest. They don't do anything except give you brochures on the programs that the state supposedly offers. I have yet to receive anything from these so called programs. This is the biggest scam/racket the state has put together!

Great services to help people with certain disabilities and I would definitely recommded to others.

However, the recieptionists here are rude. When I came in they ignored us and did not say a word. When I called they hung up on me 5 times. First time they put me on hold then hung up. Other times they picked up and hung up immediately. I kept calling until someone answered. Very rude to hang up on people for no reason. They need to hire new recieptionists here.
