My daughter has been enrolled at Sherman's daycare the past 10 months. My daughter is 5 years old and has a disability. Sherman Daycare is one of the only inclusive daycare programs I have found in Lompoc. As a parent to child with unique needs, I have been very precautious when it comes to childcare options and caregivers. Ms. Sherman has exceeded my expectations and desires. Ms. Sherman has years of experience with all ages of children and is familiar with disabilities. She has never questioned my daughter's disabilities since day one, and her home has been very welcoming. Ms. Sherman runs a very organized, firm, and communicative program. I have been pleased with how she holds the children accountable and speaks to them. Ms. Sherman's property is safe and secure. I have no safety concerns with my daughter in her care. Ms. Sherman communicates well with me and will keep me apprised of any concerns. Ms. Sherman maintains an open door policy, and is very welcoming for parents to enter her home at anytime. One thing I would like to highlight is the hygiene of my child when I pick her up. Unlike previous childcare experiences, my daughter always leave Ms. Sherman's care with a clean diaper, clean face and hands. This is immensely appreciated as a parent. I can tell her needs are well attended to and Ms. Sherman values the cleanliness and children being well kept in her care. Additionally, Ms. Sherman updates us parents far in advance. Her closures are clearly provided almost a year in advance, which as a working parent I deeply appreciate. My daughter thrives in a structured placement with boundaries and rules; Ms. Sherman provides this environment. I highly recommend Sherman Preschool & Daycare to other parents- especially those seeking an inclusive program or caregiver with experience in more complex needs. I am confident and comfortable and very happy with the service she provides our family.

Our first time using daycare..Mrs Julie made us feel very comfortable.My Baby girl started and 9 months, and she always loved going to daycare..My soon started at 2 and his speech improved by 100 percent going to Mrs Julie..He always ask me to take him to visit Mrs Julie and all his friends he made there..I highly recommend Sherman's Pre-School & daycare.
