I have been riding for over 40 years, and feel quite fortunate to have had Michelle’s help training both my mare and myself! She is a truly gifted trainer and instructor who has exceptional communication skills with horses and people. I have found this to be a rarity in the equestrian world, where many trainers lack positivity, or the ability to clearly translate how and why we should ask a horse to do something in a particular way (always with kindness).
Additionally, my young daughter has gained so much confidence and skill working with Michelle. This has been a blessing, since she was traumatized from previous riding experiences.

Michelle Freels is great! My daughter and I both take riding lessons from her. She is patient, kind, and gives tons of positive feedback. Michelle is a fantastic instructor in many ways! She has a great depth of knowledge, from her pony club days up through training and successfully competing her own horses up through to the National Dressage finals several times. She also has the knack of assessing where you are and in a positive and effective way, suggesting next steps to improve, with clear directions. I also appreciate her focus on the horse and prioritizing the horses needs so the sessions are enjoyable for both the horse and the rider.

Wow! Amazing experience, me and my friend went riding here and while I was worried at first (having never road a Horse) all my worries were put to rest. The instructor was so nice! My friend who’s a horse lover said that she even got some good tips too!!!
