My son attended a 3 day course. It is not only about him playing with lego. It almost a civics class: learn how to build a city, how to govern it, what weather it has. great learnings!

Our son attended this two week camp and it was his favorite camp all summer! I love how thoughtful the camp is, how detailed the intricate the city planning is, how it is appropriate for all age levels and how much the kids learn while having fun. The camp counselors when above and beyond when they couldn't get a hold of us and just worked to make our son comfortable during an uncomfortable experience. I highly recommend sending your children here because who doesn't love legos? Camp counselors are engaged and energetic and the "curriculum" is well thought out. We have more fun playing with Legos as a family now, too!

My 8-year old daughter has attended Kidizens Summer Camp two years in a row. She enjoyed collaborating with other kids to build a city, allocate its resources, manage crises, and earn rewards. Both years, Kidizens was hands-down her favorite summer camp.

Kidizens also recently hosted her birthday party. At one point, a party-goer became anxious and started to cry. Prerana showed her great kindness and care and was able to re-engage her in the activity. In the end, my daughter and all her friends had a blast building a city together!

My son has done Little League and AYSO but his favorite afterschool acitivity hands down has been Kidizens. He started at Kidizens in last their LEGO summer camp and has almost finished his Fall class. He loves and thrives on the interaction, the planning, discussions, and LEGO building. He's learning without realizing it and totally enjoying it. Teachers cover in a learn by doing way city planning and infrustructure, flood and sewer management, utilities, police and fire departments, campaigning for city council and elections. My son has learned about architecture too. You can see the excitement in the kids at the end of class when they assemble to debrief and plan as a group. They have a great way with the kids giving them ample room while also leading them into various learning and planning scenarios. It's even great for kids enrolling without a buddy as they quickly pair up and create together. My son is excited for the next session when they begin building businesses, economies and exploring space.

Our son has had lot of fun during his two-week camp in Belmont. He learned some important facts about the cities and built a lot of stuff. It's been a great practice of team work and collaboration.
I also appreciated that each day the kids spent some time outside in the nearby park.

My now 7 year old son has done 5 sessions of Kidizens Young Mayors lego camp over the past 3 years, and he's LOVED it every time. Yes, it's a lego camp, so of course a lego-obsessed kiddo will love it. But it's much more intellectually engaging than that. They have to build a city and make tradeoffs between different decisions. I also believe it's the best activity we've done for SEL, as it's basically non-stop collaboration.

Go to summer camp for our kids. And helps if they go as a group of friends — so they basically land up playing Lego all day with their friends 🙂
