Going here was definitely a blast from the past. Lots of interesting history. My favorite part was the classroom, complete with desks. There was a tea set donated by the lady who was my dad's teacher and a principal in the area! I remember visiting her as a child. Definitely recommend.

Had a Wonderful time visiting Lowerlake Schoolhouse Museum for the first time with my daughter for their Christmas gathering tree lighting and seeing Santa singing carols too my daughter and I had such a great time ❤🎁🍬🎄⛄❄🎅

Definitely a well kept museum with nicely displayed artifacts of native and those who grew up on the area. Old class pictures of the school nicely put together. We were not able to go upstairs, even though they had an elevator. Nice place to check it out.

Great collection of small town Americana. All of the specimens are well-preserved & well documented. The offensive exhibit however, was a little less than shocking (I have pretty thick skin) but amusing nonetheless. I recommend viewing the sheleleighs on the second floor. Bathrooms were well kept & tidy. We'll worth the visit if you enjoy history.

Wonderful things to learn and see. The musuem lady was very nice as she did a tour. I asked her questions about history of lake county. She brought me into her office and showed me extra old photos

It is a cool little museum. I would give it five stars but the employee onspot seemed to have a problem with us. (We tried to be as respectful as possible but I guess it doesn't always go through to the other as intended). Native American artifacts, Lake County production and history , schoolroom etc'. Top floor isn't part of the museum.

This is a hidden jewel. The Schoolhouse Museum is filled with local history and the grounds are beautiful. A must see on any trip to Lake County
