Recently, I received backup care from Patrisha, a caregiver from Jovie. The night before, she contacted me to learn more about my child (toddler), our routine/life and expectations. She arrived promptly and throughout the day fully engaged my child, helped to exercise my pup, made nap time a breeze (my child is not sleep trained), straightened up untidy areas (play area, change table, etc), helped style my child's wild curls and so much more. She was curious, fun, flexible with the chaos, engaging and just a joy to have around.

We used Brighthorizons from our employer and was assigned to Xally from Jovie. Let me tell you, Xally is a wonderful babysitter from beginning to end. She gave my 2 children (10 year old boy and 7 year old girl) the utmost attention the entire day. My kids enjoyed playing board games, coloring, drawing, etc. She was also communicative by letting me know via text that the kids wanted mac and cheese so she cooked that for them. She is approachable, kind and caring. She asked questions to help figure out my expectations. At the end of the day, she also helped with clean up the toys and washed dishes. She also left us a heart warming note summarizing how her day went. We are so grateful for Xally!

Casandra provide excellent in-home back-up care for a day when my kids’ school was closed. She was able to engage and play along with my two high-energy boys, while also holding boundaries firm in a kind way. Impressive! In addition she was on time, polite, and generally pleasant to have in the house.
I have used Jovie many times in this way and, in general, the providers are sometimes hit or miss, but we’ve had a few good ones! Beverly and McCall are two others who were also fantastic.
