I attended 4th, 5th and 6th grade at this school. In the late 1960's it was Elizabeth Elementary School. We lived in a pukey green house on Clara St I think near a major intersection Atlantic (I believe)? For some bizarre reason my family had a reputation which wasn't that well liked. We were called The Green House Gang. Why..I have no clue. Our last name was Patterson. There were Scott, Debbie, Dawn (me), Micky, Mark and Pete. Mother was Sue. Omg, the memories of the school. All the teachers really were wonderful. During summer we made sure to attend summer school for just one major main reason: the leftover lunches. Sad but true. We would bring home the leftover bagged lunches the school offered for free so we were able to have food for dinner and the weekend when school wasn't open. Lol! Hey, one must survive somehow! I then attended Nimitz Jr High, and for High School it was Bell High. This was a long time ago on a planet far far away (so it seems at times).

This school is absolutely disgusting, I’ve seen poop on the floor, kids vaping in the restrooms and soap dispensers getting stolen. Although all the teachers are alright to pretty good there is one specific 7th grade teacher that put me through hell. Another thing to add is that they do not care at all what happens at there school, for example a kid jumped the principle and the dean and had barely any consequences, or the many times they have caught kids doing all types of drugs, and guess what they don’t do anything about it! They just send them to therapy to get help and that never works. This teacher could’ve been alright if the bad didn’t heavily outweigh the bad.

Was a good school when I went there, 1668-1975. Was just Elizabeth Street School then, way before it became Elizabeth learning center. It's gotten a lot worse since I went there, I think I know why.

The weather has been so extremely hot and they have the classes over 30 kids in a room with temperatures over 90 degrees. This is definitely unacceptable kids could get a heat stroke. Complaints have been done however they have not fixed the issue.

Excellent school I had English classes there in the 90s with Miss Donna, the school had a visit by Vice President Al Gore in the classroom. My classmates met him and the good service of the school!

Elisabeth learning center is a fun school for sports and art. But the teachers don’t educate very well and while I was there I threw up and they didn’t do anything.and there was a bunch of fights and a kid stole my brother’s necklace.
