I Am Writing A Review For The Chabad Jewish Center Of Chino Hills Because I Would Want To Show Gratitude And Support For The Jewish Community Of Chino Hills And Chino. This Place Has Some Great Events That Are Here And Are Sponsored By This Place. I Must Say Rhat These Events Are Ways That We Can Celebrate And Support Our Communities. I Always Drive By This Place Whenever I Am Driving On Soquel Canyon Parkway. Overall, This Place Feels Like A Sanctuary

Chabad Jewish Center of Chino Hills is a tremendous group, whether you’re reconnecting with your Jewish heritage, practiced Judaism all your life, or just looking to meet some new friends! There are many group activities along with very educational weekly Torah sessions. Rabbi Mendy leads the group and he and his entire family are incredibly welcoming to everyone. Come on down and check it out!

Rabbi Mendy and Esther Harlig are very sweet and generous people who will find every opportunity to help provide you community. They have visited my family at hospitals during emergencies, and visited me at my new home even though I no longer live in Chino. They take the Chabad philosophy of helping every Jew (regardless of upbringing) very seriously, and for that they have made the Chino area a better place.

I'm a college student in the area. Rabbi and Rebbetzin Harlig have really helped me stay connected to Judaism. They've opened their home whenever I or other students needed Shabbat meals and other Jewish services, Hanukah, Purim, Challah bakes, etc! I have heard really positive things from other students as well. The community seems to be growing around them and I've met some really interesting and nice people at the Chabad. They fill a void in the area and I could not be more grateful for them.

Through our travels we found ourselves in the vicinity of Chino Hills, CA just as Passover approached. While we are not very observant, we could not imagine missing the first Seder. We got in touch with the Rabbi, and he graciously invited us to join the ceremony. The Rabbi, his wonderful wife, their elder son and the rest of the community really made us feel like home and made this evening shine! Our hesitations about the dress code, our Hebrew, or knowledge of the etiquette got wiped out by the warmth and smiles of all the wonderful people surrounding us at the Passover table. It’s so wonderful to have the Chabad Jewish Center in Chino Hills. Rabbi Harlig and his wife Esther bring so much joy to our community. I’ve had the fortune to participate in many events they’ve hosted and they always make it special! They make everyone feel welcome… it’s truly an amazing safe space.
