Before Reading this, check out every other review and notice how much detail they have. I encourage you too fully read my review, hoping it will give you an insight to this school.

A school that Should take itself more seriously, over the course of my stay here, I've seen administrators, teachers, librarian not take their jobs seriously and they establish ridiculous rules and make horrible decisions.
The librarians are horrible, and don't do their jobs. Admins and the principals are focused on how the campus looks rather than paying any attention to how the school actually functions. School lacks so much security and Ironically , security have way to much power: you can't question any of their logic our you'll get punished or screamed at.
It took 4 years for them to just change how a school lunch line operated and even doing so, it's still not even fixed.
As long as you are friends with security you could get away with murder, and as long as you show up to school, admins and the principals couldn't care less.
A school shouldn't have cursing and yelling at a library, A school shouldn't have high-ego security, A school shouldn't have a majority of their students worrying about passing with a c.
The only saving grace to this school are the counselors and the AP teachers. They at least have sense and actually want to be doing their jobs.
that's why its gets 1/5 stars. Home schooling would be the best choice if you actually care about your child's education.

Edit 7/30/2017:
The school is worse than what i already wrote about. The principle, and vice principle are oblivious to what is actually means to sort out a situation, and they do little to actually make a noticeable difference with students or grades. The most I've seen them do, is put tardy students out in the hot sun, or cool gym as lunch detention.

The Vice principle is a liar, heavily biased, and a complete (pardon my language) Ass.

During the Yearbook picture, students were restricted from expressing themselves for their own yearbook photo. Students were expected to show up, and only express "good feelings" toward the school. I understand if it was just restricting foul language, or gang related signs, but the school restricted things like " We've twerked, we've done our homework, now it's time to find work." I myself was not allowed to have a sign that stated "I got my first referral from (teacher name). i saw it as a joke, but the school saw it as an attack on their respect.

This is a newer school in Madera, located just south from Madera High School. Just take Stadium road, pass the two elementary schools and you'll run right into it. Traffic is bad in the afternoons because of the four schools in close proximity of each other. Test scores at this school could be much better and many people graduate that have poor reading and writing skills.

Recipe for making Pancakes:

-Makes 10 to 12 thick 4-inch pancakes

Ingredients

1 ½ cups milk (plus more as needed)
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups self-rising flour
¼ teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup superfine granulated sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Preparation

In a bowl or 2-cup measure, whisk together milk, egg and vanilla. Into another bowl, sift flour and baking soda. Stir in sugar. Make a well in the center. Add milk mixture. Whisk until just combined. Batter will be thick (thin with a little milk, if desired; batter will get even thicker as it sits).

Heat a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Brush pan with melted butter. Using about ¼ cup batter per pancake, cook pancakes 3 to 4 minutes or until bubbles appear on surface. Turn and cook 3 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Cover loosely with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining mixture, brushing pan with butter between batches. Serve.

Not an ideal area to grow up in but, that's part of the challenge. How to respond when faced with adversity. That's one thing privileged schools don't teach you.
