My surfing experience with Henry was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. We signed our 10 year old son up for a one on one lesson with Henry during a recent visit to Malibu. The booking process was easy and we received updated text messages regarding the best meetup location.
Our son didn’t know quite what to expect but he immediately felt at ease with Henry. In no time, I saw big smiles and our son was so proud of learning a new skill. Henry was super engaging and motivating. We will definitely book a lesson with him the next time we are there. We highly recommend him!

We booked a 90 minute lesson for our 12 year old son who had never surfed before. It’s been two weeks since the lesson and he still is on cloud 9 from the experience. Henry is absolutely awesome, terrific teacher, full of encouragement and helped give our son the confidence in the ocean. In the 90 minutes he easily caught 50+ waves, our iPhone storage is practically full of pics and videos from the session. I highly recommend Henry - great guy and we will definitely see him again in the future!

My sister and I got a 1-hour surfing lesson with Henry. This was my first time ever surfing and Henry made it the best experience possible. He is very patient and a great instructor! The waves were kicking my butt so he helped me a lot getting out in the water to catch some waves. My goal prior to the lesson was to be able to stand on the board at least once and I was able to do it a couple times thanks to Henry’s expertise and tips! I would definitely recommend him to friends and family wanting to learn how to surf!

It was our 1st visit to California, so surfing was a "must do" for our two teenagers. We didn't want them to try it on their own, so we were lucky to find Malibu Surf Experience! Henry was exceptional at communicating before we met, was friendly and patient, and our teens really enjoyed their time with him!!! He had them up and surfing as first-timers within minutes😃 We highly recommend Henry's lessons and wish we lived close enough to take them regularly!

Henry is amazing!!! We were visiting Malibu and booked a surf lesson for our kids with Malibu Surf Experience. Henry was so kind, patient and so much fun! The kids cannot stop talking about how much fun it was! Thanks Henry for an amazing experience! These two Boston kids may be trading in their hockey skates and softball jerseys for surf boards!!!!

Surfing with Henry was a great experience! Seriously he’s a really good teacher. His instructions were clear and precise. He instills confidence. When he’s out in the water with you he tells you how to read the wave. After a couple wipeouts, he told me what I was doing wrong and on third wave I was up and surfing.
I think I caught like 20 waves in our 90 mins session.
It was amazing! I can’t wait to get back out there again!

Henry was an awesome instructor! I had tried surfing in the past, and was worried that I would just not be able to get up. But Henry taught me how to get up my first try! And he was such a great teacher, because he showed me what I needed to do to have a better ride each wave. I teach for a living, so it was really cool to see what a phenomenal teacher he was and how it translated into getting me up on the board. I definitely plan on going back next time I go to Malibu!
