Allyson is a phenomenal teacher! We began piano lessons early in the pandemic via FaceTime for our oldest two children, ages 4 and 6 at the time. It has been so successful that we’ve continued to use FaceTime ever since! Allyson is so patient and nurturing each and every lesson. She truly meets each child where they are at, mentally and emotionally. She can sense when to challenge them and when to adjust her style to adapt to their needs and learning style. Over the past 3 years, she’s taken on our third child as well and even entertains a couple minutes with our littlest! I am absolutely amazed by their abilities at such a young age and how quickly she has empowered them to read music, learn timing, and sight read notes! They can each pick up a new piece and begin playing it confidently within minutes. My childhood piano lessons were nothing like this and I have learned right alongside my children! I cannot say enough positive things about Allyson as a person, a teacher, a friend, and a mother! I am so glad we found her and I highly recommend her!!

Allyson is amazing and has been virtually teaching my son since 2020. She now lives out of state. My son looks forward to and enjoys his lessons so much. He has grown at incredible lengths with all the knowledge that Allyson has to share.

I was not sure if learning to play the piano was possible at 40yrs old. Allyson has been amazing. She structures the lessons based on my progress and has helped me work through things I struggle with. Even early in lessons she helps prevent you from developing habits that would hurt your progress in later lessons. I have been loving my experience learning to play the piano with her.

I have had Allyson as a teacher for about 5 years. I can not recommend her enough. She is exceptionally talented not just at the piano, but at teaching - she meets each student where they are, helping each person reach levels of mastery at reading and playing music that they didn't think possible. Her approach is holistic to say the least - meaning she teaches the functional skills (reading music, playing piano) but also helps you overcome any challenges to your growth in piano playing based on mindset, physical posture/form and even time management. Beyond that, she is a lovely person and each lesson is a breath of fresh air.
