This was the best decision made for our son he was being bullied at one time AND to join it has build up his confidence! and enjoys being there and has fun! Absolutely the best place to learn mixed martial arts in the high desert!
The dojo is very clean and welcoming. All of the senseis are super friendly, experienced and attuned to your child’s needs. They are incredibly encouraging and patient when teaching the children.
We’ve been coming here for almost a year and a half and I’ve seen so much growth and improvement in both of my kids. HLMMA provides a positive and safe environment for your child to learn martial arts and I highly recommend them!

My son has been going to Happy Life Mix Martial Arts for the past 4 months. All the sensei's are amazing and admirable, they teach with constructive feedback that exemplifies patience and positivity keeping the kids engaged. My son has gained a better sense of respect, strength, self-defense, and most of all confidence since joining. I myself also attend their kickboxing class and am seeing a pleasing difference. I highly recommend the knowledgeable family at Happy Life.

My son loves this gym. As a parent, you look for a martial arts gym for so many reasons and I feel this place really delivered. On the following points I would highly recommend.
1. Confidence- My son started and was so shy, it took him a little while to warm up but he really blossomed and is now very confident and outspoken. I've seen other children do the same they started off shy and are now more secure in themselves.
2. His focus- He would not be able to keep focus for long periods of time, he's still a toddler but after this time here he is more present and focused.
3. Cleanliness- They clean the area well the gym is well maintained.
4. Curriculum- The outline of the class is given to you so you can work with your child. They work on learning details, good habits, respect, kindness, standing up to bullies and the new belt ceremony is pretty neat.
5. Environment- The Senseis are very alert and pay attention to the children and their progress. If the children are playing around, they will move them and are quick to resolve issues.
6. Kindness- The Senseis are very talented in teaching the children and working with different personalities. I see so many different characters and the senseis work together to find the best way to coach the kids.
7. Fun activities- There are plenty of great activities they host so the kids can gather and have fun like the picnic, the parents night out, christmas party and Karate camp. The kids really enjoy themselves and a great time.

Look into it for yourself but I will say my experience has been great!

Happy Life Mixed Martial Arts is a good way to learn new different karate skills and develop new things. It helps with coordination and balance. They are positive and work with each other to train the Students. What a great place for your kids and all ages to learn how to be more confident, disciplined, build good character, and self-defense.Which proves it is never too late to learn something new.

We really love Happy Life Mixed Martial Arts! I love that the class is taught by incredible young sensei siblings, I feel like that really helps them relate to all the students there and they make the class fun. They’re also so patient in teaching especially all the little ones. We’re so glad we found this place! I would totally recommend anyone in the high desert looking to put their kids in a karate class to come here!

My daughter has been going here for at least 3 months and she loves it! The sensei's are mostly kids but find that to be the best part. They understand the kids better and have the patience to deal with them. She is definitely learning and we see an improvement in her. She cleans her room almost every day now and her punches have some power behind them. I recommend you sign your kids up here. They will love it and beg you to go every Week.
