Master Lee is the most dedicated Taekwondo master that I have ever seen in all Monterey Bay. I originally signed up my 2 daughters to learn self defense and they loved it so much I joined with them. The moments and memories that I’ve had with my daughters, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Master Lee invest in his instructors to learn and teach fellow students. It is an amazing environment for anyone and you are treated like family the moment you walk in the front door. Joining Monterey Bay Taekwondo Academy has been a blessing. Come see for yourself.

I’ve been at Montrey Bay Taekwondo academy sence I was 7 years old. Today I am now 18. Through out my 11 years here I’ve had nothing but the best experience. I believe at Montrey bay Taekwondo there is something for everyone to enjoy such as the various teams like Swat Storm team, Sparring team, and Poomsae team.

My kids and I attend Monterey Bay Taekwondo Academy. We are a family and we support one another, and we are kind to each other. Master Lee. and all the instructors are all hard workers and teach us very seriously. We do have fun a lot in class. I started sending my two kids to this academy in January of last year based on a friend's recommendation. They are learning Taekwondo here and also growing in respect, patience, and diligence. I am grateful to the kind and passionate instructors and Master Lee, and I'm very happy that there is a place in our neighborhood where they can learn Taekwondo.

This is the best Taekwondo studio in Monterey County. Master Lee & Mrs. Lee are great and really care about the students! They have great instructors and are very patient with kids of all ages. They have a variety of ways to instruct and keep the little ones engaged. I’ve seen so much growth with all my children(we have 5 enrolled!) We joined about 3 1/2 years ago & have ZERO complaints!
Give them a call and see about a free trial class, you will not regret it!

Monterey Bay Taekwondo Academy is an amazing place for kids to grow confidence and learn discipline. My son has been going for almost 3 years now and I have seen so much growth in his confidence and Master Lee has so much patience for his students. Also the student instructors are also awesome and they have to much patience as well with the younger students.

Master Lee told my daughter she was testing and never gave the time. Disrespectful! My daughter has attended MTA for 1.5 years. She would lead the stretching exercises and strived to be a black belt and teach others. Master Lee is just interested in making money, there is no family values. He stressed out my 11 year old and shows no respect, even though he demands respect. Dispectful behavior! We have paid over $3000. You will be charged for testing, parents night out, joining the sparring team, so if you child want to compete more money is needed, if your child want to join any other programs you will be charged with no refund, Master Lee's words. No compassion, what if your child is sick or other family emergency.
Our family has been involved in Martial Arts for over 20 years. The disappointment is unexplainable. Please join and spend your hard earned money somewhere who values their students, not values your children as money. Master Lee is a liar and lacks integrity.
