Had a great experience getting to know the owner and tasting the wines. We came in and he hand picked wines to our taste. He was so friendly as well as informative about the different local places to eat and drink. We also had a taste of the little ramen shop even though it was closed. Loved the place so much left with 4 bottles!! Will definitely be returning to try the ramen and get more wines!!

Very hospitable, very welcoming, overall very "demure." I was part of a party of 9 for a Bachelorette party and we were happily welcomed the moment we entered. Customer service was top tier and employees very knowledgeable and accommodating. All 9 of us had a spectacular time, would happily come again.

Absolutely adorable tasting room (other half was a delicious ramen bar too!) with an incredibly friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable owner.

Completed a 5 wine tasting (only $15!) which the tasting fee was waived when I purchased a bottle.

While the tasting options are “fixed,” there was a nice variety of reds and whites (I did all reds), and had no problem finding a bottle of wine I LOVED. Wine prices vary with the cheapest being $15 at time of posting and most expensive (that I saw) being in the $40s. Most in $20-30 range. Great mix of vineyards too.

Perfect place to stop to buy a bottle of local wine, enjoy a tasting, or both!

Connected to the little ramen shop. Super cute and very laid back. The tasting was good and had a good selection of wine! Kid friendly. My littles devoured the miso ramen. Didn’t get any pictures of the wine hah

An unlikely combo, this wine bar connected to a ramen restaurant is a fantastic place. The owner is knowledgeable about wine, supports local wineries, and provided excellence service and conversation while we tasted and explored wines of many different varietals. I highly recommend.

I popped into The Local Grape to escape the heat while my wife was perusing stores nearby. I ended up having a great conversation with Travis before the wife and kids eventually caught up with me. The misses and I enjoyed a taste and BS session about wine while the kids had a soft drink. Would definitely recommend for anyone interested in Sierra Foothills wines.

Our visit to the Local Grape was definitely one of the main highlights of our trip. As we were wandering the beautiful town of Mariposa, we came across a wine tasting sign and decided to try it out. Travis, the owner, greeted us with open arms (and clean glasses!) and a wealth of knowledge. He was incredibly accommodating during our tasting and made us feel as though we were tasting with a long time friend. He listened to our likes and dislikes as well as the tales of our previous travels completely unrelated to wine. His recommendations were phenomenal and we couldn’t be more impressed with this beautiful establishment. We can’t wait to go back and see your growth and chat again.
