Kim Stansell was the BEST! Since her departure 2 years ago, I cannot emphasize enough how difficult my experiences have been. I figured this is the year for me to say something about it— I have now been on hold for 30 minutes to try and speak with someone about having my taxes redone after being rejected by fed/state.
Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to have your taxes done.

Kimberly Stansell has been doing my taxes for about 13 years now. She's efficient, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I never have any problems when I work with her. She explains things very clearly and gets the job done. She's even been willing to work with me remotely since I moved! I upload my forms on the website, she prepares everything before our appointment, and after 15 minutes of her explaining my returns, we're done! Total peace of mind. Would recommend her to anyone.

I have not had good experiences with anyone else at H&R Block, so this is not a positive review for the company, only for Kimberly.

I waited a while to leave this review but for the price HR Block charges for taxes this shouldn’t be happening. First year with then wasn’t bad. I worked with Jane Abbott who I was unfortunately not able to get the second year. This year was just terrible. First person I was assigned to was a disaster and didn’t do my taxes for days after she was supposed to. Then when I hunted her down to complete them she gave me totally incorrect numbers because “she didn’t have her notes with her”. I complained and they assigned me to someone else and manager even offered to give me a discount when it was all done. Second person I was assigned to was Jukka who was better at taxes but the reality is, even after paying $1000, my taxes still aren’t filed. Also never got a discount for the terrible experience because apparently that manager was gone a week later. As it stands I have to keep calling them even though they took my money so they can complete the job. Find someone else if you want peace of mind. They should be cheaper for this level of service. Also please FINISH filing my taxes or I’m going to escalate to corporate and or file a dispute with my credit card company. This is ridiculous. I only requested the edit the address!!!!
