I had an amazing experience at Point Reyes Arabian Adventures! I was assigned a great horse, well trained and easy to ride. All the equipment was in excellent condition. The trail was great and the views were breathtaking. Susan is a wonderful instructor; she pointed out a few things I was doing incorrectly and clearly explained the right techniques, helping me understand how my mistakes were holding me back. Thanks to her guidance, I was able to get my horse into a canter for the first time, which was such an exciting moment. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

To say I love riding at Pt Reyes Arabian Adventures is an understatement! I’ve been riding here regularly for over 8 years and exploring the gorgeous trails in the area. The horses are fabulous and Suzi, the owner, takes great care in matching the right horse to the rider. Great for private riding lessons. Susan is an excellent, tough love, instructor. I’ve had so many terrible experiences with riding lessons for adults. Susan’s facilities and teaching style has been a breath of fresh air. I’ve learned more in two lessons with her than I did in multiple months of lessons elsewhere. It’s a solid 60-90 minutes riding on the horse along trails that require your focus. I started lessons to be able to ride a horse in nature, not around an arena in circles. So thankful I found her lessons before developing any more bad riding habits!

Susan, the owner/guide, was friendly and continually provided helpful suggestions to manage our horses, Summer and Bella. The horses already appeared to know their roles so it was fairly easy to ride them as complete beginners. The horses are beautiful and very tame. The views were fantastic. It was an exciting ride! The porter potty was yucky but at least it's available.

An Absolute Must Do for anyone living in or visiting Marin County! Susan the owner was a fabulous guide for our group of 4. I was not an experienced rider and Susan offered expert attention, advice and instructions in riding a most beautiful Arabian Horse. She really is a very good teacher. The trail ride winds through the hills above Point Reyes, with fabulous views of the surrounding area. The horses were all well trained and with such nice temperament. Go and enjoy this wonderful experience - you won’t regret making a memory that will last a lifetime!

One of the best riding options in the Bay Area, not to be missed! I am an experienced rider and have ridden for years, I like to ride with Susan and her horses for both the Tamales Bay ride which goes up a nice hillside trail with a nice variation in terrain, and at the top there are amazing views of the bay and surrounding area. I also like to do the longer forest trail rides, and I always take my friends and visitors that want to try riding to Susan. Her horses are the absolute best "bomb proof" horses and I have ridden all over the world. Susan is a true horse whisperer and I trust her 100% with myself and the friends and family I have taken to ride with her. The area is stunning for beauty and Point Reyes is a wonderful little tiny town that is super fun to go have a drink or bite to eat after riding.

There is also the oyster farms up the road and a Meadery across the road and Winery just up the road. All around going riding with Susan and then spending the day in Point Reyes is one of my number one top local things to do for a weekend. Come with a sense of adventure, be sure to wear your sunscreen, and you will have the best time ever! Susan is also really awesome with working with different levels so I can bring my friends that have never ridden but I too can also do a few canters and get to ride in a way that fits for my experience.

Absolutely amazing experience! We went a bit last minute and we’re able to snag spots in their forest trail ride which exceeded expectations. The sun was out, the horses were super sweet, and the views were breathtaking. 10/10 would highly recommend and would love to come back!
