I went sailing with them and Angels Nest and had an amazing experience. I've volunteered for Matt and Life Sail over the years and during a summer sailing program. Matt creates a safe environment where students enjoy themselves as they learn the mechanics of sailing. Matt is very passionate and goes beyond: he makes sure students learn communication skills, teamwork, quick thinking, and important lessons for life through his wisdom. Students show higher confidence in themselves and their abilities by the end of the program and develop an appreciation for the ocean and life.

Through several summers I enrolled my son in LifeSail summer camps and it was always above and beyond our expectations. Matt and his staff run this operation with so much love and passion, teaching young generations valuable life lessons through sailing. Fun adventures, teamwork, interaction with dolphins, a variety of sail boats and basics of oceanography are some of the things my son just named, off the top of his head, when asked about these camps. Lifesail is a wonderful program. Matt understands what it takes to handle a sailboat - confidence. I sailed with the Mariner Girl Scouts as a youth and learned so much about geometry, navigation, respect for the ocean, caution, knots, responsibility, and teamwork, in addition to sailing. My scout troop were sailing past the Isthmus at Catalina when the captain's flying jinny ripped -- I'll always remember how he never faulted us for that. The youth participants will have these memories for a lifetime. Sail on, kids!

10/10 experience. If you have never gone sailing or it’s been awhile I highly recommend LifeSail! They’re an amazing crew and it’s a very welcoming environment. Extremely safe and Matt is a great teacher!

My coworkers and I had a great time sailing with Matt and his crew! We took a spin around the marina and even went out to open water. The entire time I felt safe in their hands and under their instruction. We got to particiapte in the process had a great time. We are teachers and will definitley be recommending Life Sail to our students and their families! Their passion for reaching kids and teaching them, not just sailing skills but life skills also, was evident and inspiring! Thanks so much, highly recommended!
