The KOC hall in Playa Del Rey is a nice but small venue. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean. It has a small bar area where I'm guessing they mostly sell beer because I asked for specialty drinks and struck out 2 of 3 times. I ended up with the improvised Lemon Drop "martini" (c+ for effort).
Parking lot is in back but I think it's shared with the Elks lodge, 2 doors down.

I was a guest on a debut celebration 10/05/13. Bar initially served free fountain drinks. Kids say fountain ran out have to pay for it. Gave money to kids to buy some drinks. In short, I needed some and for others, went to the bar. Bartender explained fountain drink ran out an have to buy cans for $2 each. I ordered 4 cans (1 coke and 3 sprite). Bartender said they don't serve the cans but will be served in cups. I said "No problem". Bartender started shaking open cans in front of him and looks around... then started "pouring drinks from fountain dispenser"... all 4 drinks from dispenser. I was with kids with disabilities and such a joyous occasion that I did not want to ruin the moment.
It appears odd when he said fountain drinks ran out and started charging everyone and yet he pours drinks from the dispenser.
I used to work at a five star hotel as a banquet bartender... the way I look at it he is scamming people to pay for free drinks. SHAME on the "Knights" of Columbus.
