Yesterday I attended a “Retreat/spa” themed birthday party where Vanessa was hired to provide “Sound Therapy.” This concept was something novel to me, but since we were partaking in all of the activities, we decided to give it a try. WOW! Vanessa basically has you lay down and get comfortable with an eye mask and guides you through meditation with her soothing voice. She then “plays” colorful bowls of different sizes and uses music to pull you deeper and deeper into a meditative trance until you feel like your body is melted into the earth. This was such a rejuvenating and wonderfully relaxing experience! If you haven’t tried this, I highly highly highly recommend it! Especially for people who normally have trouble focusing and detaching during meditation, this was fantastic!!! Thanks Vanessa!!!
