We cannot thank Lisa enough for the incredible experience she gave us while preparing for our first wedding dance. From the very first lesson, we knew we had made the right choice! She has an amazing, fun, and outgoing personality that made every lesson so enjoyable. She made us feel at ease from the start, and it never felt like a chore—more like a fun and exciting activity we looked forward to every week.

One of the things that stood out most was her flexibility. We had a lot of moving parts with wedding planning, but Lisa was always accommodating with our schedules. As a teacher, she is so patient as we worked through new moves. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and choreographed something that matched our beginner skill level, while still being show-stopping for our guests.

On the big day, our first dance was a hit! We’ve received so many compliments from our family and friends who were blown away by how smooth and elegant it looked. We couldn’t have done it without Lisa. The dance lessons ended up being one of our absolute favorite parts of the wedding planning process, and we’re so grateful for her guidance and encouragement.

If you're looking for an instructor who will make your first dance both fun and memorable, we can't recommend Lisa enough.

I randomly selected Lisa’s class based on some Yelp reviews as I wanted a dance class to take my young 16 year old cousin.

The hip hop class was a blast and Lisa is boundless energy in a petite package! We had so much fun and Lisa made it easy to follow along and her musical selections were awesome!

I have been taking Lisa's Hip Hop class for years now off and on. Her classes are so much fun. Her dance routines and music are awesome. It doesn't matter if you are an advanced dancer or a beginner. Everyone feels welcome and will get a super fun dance class out of it, and a great workout.
Lisa is truly a great teacher, with so much love for dance that she wants to share it with everyone.

Wow, what a rush! I was struggling with losing the pounds I gained over Covid and was looking for a fun dance class to get started on my weight loss journey. In a matter of weeks, I lost the weight, and pounds are still melting off. Lisa is such a dynamic, beacon of good vibes and joy! Her hip hop classes are good for beginners and experienced dancers, she breaks all the moves down, while keeping the pace of the class going and engaging for all levels of dancers. The music is well curated, lots of 90’s hip hop. The choreography is inspired, and very creative and fresh. Lisa’s routines switch up weekly and you can tell that Lisa puts her heart and soul in creating a wonderfully varied and original class. With Lisa’s patience and loving support, I’ve became a much better dancer and can highly recommend taking class with Lisa. You will leave class with a smile on your face, joy in your heart, feel accomplished and hang with some of the nicest people. Lisa is one of a kind!

Lisa is fun, high-energy, and so welcoming. I first met Lisa at a hip-hop dance party fundraiser for our school. The kids had an absolute blast -- and then she got all of us moms out on the floor! We had such a good time! When I signed up for her class, I was a total beginner aside from the dance party. (TIP: classes specifically for beginners/intro level are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm.) Lisa's instructions are so easy to follow and she makes the learning fun. She gives tips on how to avoid injury (low-impact alternatives and demonstrations on how to avoid twisting/straining), which is wonderful for me as an older dancer. I get a great workout every time, and a nice lift in my mood because Lisa creates such a positive happy vibe in her class. I absolutely love this class!

THIS. CLASS. IS. THE BOMB. I've done three classes with Lisa and I'm hooked! Lisa is an amazing dancer AND, excellent teacher, and fun, energetic person. She’s super passionate about dance and her enthusiasm is absurdly infectious! The class like an hour of play - fun, dynamic, and accessible - even for people like me who’ve never taken hip hop before. It’s also a great workout but doesn’t feel like one, and the music is great. I already feel lighter and more in my body after just a couple of sessions. Plus they’re a bargain, especially for LA! Dance, don’t walk to Lisa’s classes, your body and mind and soul will thank you! 🙂

Lisa is the best hip-hop dance teacher I’ve ever had! She plays awesome music and has so much energy. It is such a great work out but also so much fun to be in her class! Her choreography is for all levels as she breaks it down, making sure everyone understands what she’s teaching. Her classes are for the body but also the mind and the soul in the heart as well. Afterwords you come out feeling transformed! Cannot say enough good stuff about Lisa!
