I flew out from D.C. to train at the Inosanto Academy from 17Jun-22Jun. And I cant begin to express how extraordinary my experience was! I was a newbie to the styles and EVERY SINGLE instructor was patient and kind, when I struggled on multiple occasions with the FMA and weapons. Other students with more experience were very kind and tolerant of my slow progress. (shouts out to Marty!) Dori, was a blessing in disguise at the front desk. And guru actually name checked me while I was there!! I made new friends, and told everyone that I would return to resume my training. (kinda like Luke did with Yoda in "Empire", let's see who gets that reference) but I will return. To sum it up. I loved my time there, training in esoteric arts, meeting new people, and seeing Guru do his thang in the warm California sun!! My only complaint: I didn't get my damn pic with Guru himself!! Lol Maybe next visit...

Guro Dan Inosanto is the real deal when it comes to martial arts. I'm so proud I met him & was able to study under him. His wife Simo Paula is a wonderful human being being as well, I owe Guro Dan a lot for teaching & guiding me to learn & understand what the real Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do art is really about. Also I was lucky to learn about Filipino martial arts. Guro Dan is a wonderful martial arts master, he has to be the best in America. I'm forever grateful. I hope to study with him again.

The instructors there are knowledgeable and very skilled. One can learn a complete martial arts system from weaponry to empty-hands to grappling, takedowns, and submissions.

Best martial arts academy in the world. Guru Dan Inosanto is a wise, and genuine instructor. Sensei Gary Padilla is the best BJJ profesor, very knowledgeable and caring. They both really have a passion for the arts and care for the progression of their students. I felt right at home training in this amazing place. Unfortunately I had to stop because I temporarily moved to Sydney but I'll rejoin as soon as I'm back in LA.
