One of the most veteran and special literary organizations, venues, and bookstores around. The staff and board are constantly growing and expanding what they include and bring in for their programming. Their small bookstore is humble, but carries titles that are often out of print and supportive of our great local talent!

Besides the fact that this arts center has a beautiful garden and amazing murals all over it's castle like architecture, the staff and clients that keep this place running are some of the most beautiful and talented in the LA area.
Next time there is an event, come check out. Even if the arts aren't that interesting to you, I'm sure the Fire Dept next door could use some help washing their overused machinery.

Real poets and friendly booksellers. Many vintage literary magazines to be found at reasonable prices. I have talked to poets and booksellers. I went to a free poetry workshop there with a friend.

I love their place and the art and music events they have. I love the old Little Theater painted all in black. The bathrooms are clean and I like the outdoor patio area it's refreshing
