We absolutely hit the jackpot when we found Story Garden Preschool. Melissa, her staff, and the program were exactly what we hoped for and much much more. All of the staff were kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable about child development. The activities and materials that Melissa provided were creative and engaging, which facilitated a ton of growth in my son over the school year. Social emotional development was our main priority and we genuinely believe that his time at Story Garden played a large role in helping him become a kind and caring friend and overall great little kid. We are extremely grateful for our experience at Story Garden and would highly recommended again and again.

Story Garden is a magical play based preschool where children are exposed to new activities and learn something new every single day. The owner, Melissa Allen, thoughtfully puts her heart, soul, and creativity into the curriculum to consistently keep the children excited and engaged. There’s 1 day a week fully outdoors at Briones which encourages outdoor exploration and curiosity. The rest of the week is at the home based preschool with an excellent set up for indoor and outdoor learning. My daughter attended the school for almost 2.5 years before we moved. We wish we could have stayed and miss it everyday. I’m currently looking for a new school for my younger child and Story Garden set such a high standard that is completely unmatched and impossible to replicate. It’s truly a treasure and we are forever grateful to Melissa for instilling such a strong foundation into our daughter with confidence and teaching core life lessons to set her up for success in school for years to come. We would 1,000% recommend this school to anyone needing exceptional care for their child on their preschool journey.
