Holy chocolate martini!! Wow! I added a shot of espresso to mine, and it couldn't have been more decadent and delicious. I literally dream about this cocktail. One side of the shop is a candy shop with a coffee bar, and then they serve cocktails on the other side. There is a bar or tables to sit at. We popped in for a drink one day, and were able to overhear the owner working out new drinks for the menu... very interesting. Super kind and helpful staff as well. Awesome place.

Happened across this place when in Hilo. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and offered a sample of chocolate. Fantastic chocolate. Lots of different things to buy, from island fresh chocolate and coffee to artwork and souvenirs. Left very happy with our purchases. Also, the crystallized ginger was very tasty too! Would definitely go again the next time we visit.

Fantastic place!
Great coffee, incredibly priced food, and even the default tip options (when paying by tapping) are considerately set much lower than anywhere else I've seen in Hawaii.
My favourite place on Hilo hands down. Can't recommend enough!

I ordered an iced mocha and it was perfect. I really liked the atmosphere of the shop while I enjoyed my treat & was impressed by the service! Fairly priced, maybe a tad more expensive than I’d imagine BUT I don’t mind paying for a great quality item! Highly recommend stopping here ◡̈

AMAZING CHOCOLATE!! Super impressed with the creative flavors, the beautiful designs of the packaging, and the integrity behind the product. The Honey Wine Berry Dark chocolate was a personal favorite. The cocktail bar was also STELLAR. The drinks were sophisticated and unique, and DELICIOUS!!! Will come back anytime we are in Hilo!

Terrific place. We went there WTF(udge) Wednesday, when alcoholic chocolate drinks are ten bucks. The two ladies behind the bar were quite knowledgeable, not only about their own products, but the local alcohol scene. There is a gift shop which is not huge, but it is dense with all manner of chocolate and related products. Also, there is a separate “speakeasy” downstairs which l did not go to.

One of my 3 go to cafes in Hilo. I just love hot chocolate fresh from the island.

Never too crowded and a good place to wind down and hang with a friend

We were looking for coffee other than Char-bucks. Found this place that had a most excellent caramel mocha where I added a macadamia syrup shot! So yummy. While I waited, I looked around at their small shop and picked up some honey-coffee macadamia nuts! So good.
So, skip char-sucks and go see the people at Puna Chocolate Company!
