As someone that appreciates the challenges and stressors of running a successful small business and had two children enrolled with Wiz Kids, I find it necessary to comment both in praise and defense of Scott and what he has built.

Scott offers the best value option for tutoring in terms of cost and quality. The first lesson is free (or at least was when we enrolled) and the 2:1 vice 1:1 ratio is actually a quite positive format (pre-COVID), as each of my children appreciates the ability to talk to another child about the work. Of course, the ratio also enables the cost to be shared amongst two parents.

In regard to the personality of the staff, I've found Scott and his team to be nothing but personable and engaging when the flow of business allows. Their new space is smaller than the previous location but optimally utilized. However, during high concentration hours and/or transitioning between sessions, things can be somewhat hectic as there are a lot of different conversations going on and of course a series of kids all trying to get either the instructors' or parents' attention. During this time Scott is usually multi-tasking demands while trying to float around and engage with parents. Kudos to him...

We had been with Wiz Kids for about two years prior to leaving for the mainland. I'll close with the program works and Scott is genuinely a wonderful person that does his best to make sure the parents are satisfied. A good example was a session where my daughter just didn't focus much and Scott made the decision that he would not charge me because he wasn't able to provide the value and purpose he intended. That's great business service.

My three boys (ages 11, 9, and 7) LOVE Wiz Kids!! They used to always cry and/or complain everytime we drove to other tutors. But, once they started attending Wiz Kids, they would be excited to go!
The tutors are very nice and they teach with credibility and great patience. Most of the tutors are very young which adds a level of comforting relatability for the children. Each lesson is catered according to your child's learning style. They also allow your child to learn at their own pace, while providing the necessary challenges to help them grow confidently. Scott (the owner/manager) has always been courteous to our family and supported us as well as many others. He has also created a clean, safe and secure environment for each child to feel comfortable while loving to learn! Good price too!!
