This place has the nicest staff and an amazing variety of books. The stools used to reach high bookshelves aren't tall enough, but I rarely need books off there anyway. The little hang out section for kids 12 and up is really cool. It's a cool library, but pretty small compared to others.

I used to go to the Mobile, Daphne and Fairhope library but since I started going to the Spanish Fort library I seldom visit the other libraries( they’re all still nice) because of the friendliest staff I found at Spanish fort library. They move mountains to help, always friendly, extremely helpful, professional and the library and the surroundings are breathtaking. A little paradise for an escape, it feels being on holidays going there. A very very special place. Thx to the library employees to make it such a nice atmosphere

As a student who is constantly studying and doing homework. Today I came in and sat in the upstairs loft hoping for a quiet place to study. Turns out I would have been better off at home. I could hear people loudly talking from the first floor. Mothers bringing in screaming children and folks using the meeting room without closing the door were heard having discussions. Staff did nothing to quell the ungodly distractions and added to it with their unrestrained voices. Take some example from the Daphne library and maintain a quiet atmosphere. I’ll think twice before visiting SFPL to complete my studies. I only give three stars because of the nice facilities and resources some of the staff are completely nice and professional. SFPL needs to work on maintaining a quiet, learning environment. I am very disappointed and hope for improvement.
