Principle was very biased towards my children. Turned the other cheek towards other students. Seemed she had an issue with Caucasian LDS kids. Even some of the teachers confirmed that, but were afraid of saying anything to her. She is very power hungry person! My children got pink eye from the school and when they missed I was called in and asked why I thought it was ok for them to miss even with a doctors note. The school also had lice going around and a nurse checking the kids but failed to let parents know. I am now homeschooling.

This is still a great country with lots of achievements and freedoms , compared to the rest of the world.
Unfortunately the general quality of public education is not the one of them. Publicly available information about this school is less than impressive.
"Test scores at this school fall below the state average. This suggests that most students at this school may not be performing at grade level."
Really hard to compare though when it comes to schools and stats might be difficult for me to find the perfect point of reference. So let me just pour my personal impression here.I am not sure if they are biased towards Caucasian kids as previous reviewer noted , but I noticed , that they only provide a personal translator to Spanish speakers , even though according to Federal law particularly states , that Title VI is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin. But for kids with European roots the bar is higher they are supposed to know the local language, which is OK , my son speaks English.
My personal dissatisfaction comes from the way school authorities resolve issues(which they do not). Our son missed a few days of school , mostly when he was sick or when my spouse got severely ill and had to spend almost 10 days in a hospital.First surprise came when we figured , that people, who are entrusted to teach our kids are not very proficient in basic math therefore do not see much difference between 15 and 19. Ok , it is customary to forgive the people , who do not know what they do.We forgave them.
The next par is bizarre to say the least. We are both hard working intelligent people , we pay our bills and taxes and take reasonable care of our property and vehicles. We are not easily intimidated , so the threat to bring us to the court if our son misses school is a perfect demonstration of the deranged attitude existing in this establishment.
Especially disappointing is the fact , that in October last year I already spent my time at the principal's office.I was not summoned, I stopped by of my own free will to discuss the attendance issue. My wife got sick and I was only able to bring my son to school half an hour later due to my work schedule. There are no taxi cabs available.I suggested 2 possible solutions : school bus ride or switch to afternoon group, both were rejected.
I do not avoid confrontation whenever possible, I just firmly believe if there is a will there is a way and in most cases healthy compromise can be reached before court.
Today we were summoned to appear and discussed the same issues once again. Not sure how school people think here.I thought if there is an issue , there should be a solution.'em school buses are being financed by our tax dollars, won't hurt if 1 of them serves us somehow. In my opinion my sons teacher kinda belittled his academical abilities. He is very well developed and his vocabulary is pretty rich, compared to kids in similar age group.
Once again I demanded the principal if they are willing to assist us , and the answer I got was just fix it yourself or else.We are not poor peasants and won’t be easily intimidated.Threats like we will take you to the court , because you ignored our school do not work well for me.You are not the warden and we are not inmates. We would like to avoid excessive attorney fees , but what is in it for you if we would have to ? Do you really think , that you can sue me to get my kids to go to your supposedly educational establishment.Think again.
I made my son go to school 1 year earlier , than initially planned and yes I do regret it.
One of the greatest American freedoms is the to homeshool your children. Also , statistically the more time your kid spends in a public school the more likely he/she is to be hurt.
You are no the warden and we are not inmates. We got choices.
Sorry to tell you , but there are also private schools.
