I can't say enough great things about HSB. Carson and Mike have been easy to work with. The training academy and camps they offer are amazing. My son has attended multiple camps and the experience has always been great for him and us. The coaches go out of their way to make sure my son is being challenged and getting the most out of his training. The entire HSB staff is incredibly talented, each coach has a special skill set to pass on to the kids. I would highly recommend HSB to anyone who has an interest in basketball.

Both my son and daughter have participated in HSB programs. They are the best basketball programs I have seen in the valley! But let me make it very clear, I'm not into wrist bands and every child recieving a trophy. I honestly feel like my kids are being taught basketball skills like we were taught basketball back in "the good old days".

Carson and his team care about these kids. I've watched Carson coach my daughter's 3rd-4th grade team and my son's 6th-8th grade team, as well Kindergarten-2nd grade teams. They all work hard, learn a ton, and have a great time. I've watched him teach purposeful hour long skills sessions to kids at all different levels. And I've watched him run camps. On 2 occasions our family couldn't attend something we signed up for, one of those occasions being camp this summer at Capital. My son's football practice interfered. We hadn't purchased insurance but we explained the situation to Carson and he didn't make us pay for camp. The other situation was similar and Carson handled it the same way.

During the game season my 8th game son, that had never had the opportunity to play basketball due to our unfortunate moving, really wanted to play so bad. We knew he'd never have an opportunity in school or in any other league BUT Carson not only allowed us to register him, he took him under his wing. Carson gave our son confidence in himself. Sure, he taught him a lot about basketball, but more than that, Carson gave our boy a new belief in himself. For that, we will always be thankful!

I have taught and coached for 18 years in this valley and this HSB program is exactly what is needed! These coaches love kids and they want kids to believe in themselves; they love basketball and their instruction is purposeful; and they are always available to parents to help provide the very best outcome for families.

Our family will always be part of the HSB family! There is another program I'd be more comfortable trusting my kids to. Carson, his beautiful wife, Mike, and the entire HSB crew mean the world to our family! Thank you HSB!

This is one of the very best camps in the country. The facilities are fantastic, the coaches are very knowledgeable and have top notch/professional level basketball skills to pass on to the kids.
They share ideas and personal experiences to help give the kids a strong foundation for belief and confidence in themselves. They teach team work, and the benefits of hard word and sacrifice. Many of these sessions are life changing and have a long term impact on the kids. Carson puts his heart and soul into helping the kids on many levels. His dedication to the kids and this program are unmatched and second to none!

HSB camp provided a great experience for my little guy. He loves basketball, but is new to the sport and needed a lot of help. Because we were driving from the other side of the Valley to camp each day, I stayed and observed the coaches and kids. It was well organized and fun for all involved. I saw a lot of smiles and kids learning new skills and developing teamwork. All the coaches were supportive and challenging at the same time. I’m amazed at how quickly they learned each child’s name. My favorite part was listening to my son relay Coach Carson’s basketball stories on the way home from camp each day. He was definitely inspired by him! I highly recommend this camp.

HSB is an amazing organization! I have seen and been around many different organizations over the years and have seen personally the difference in HSB.
All of the coaches take such time to be personally invested and care for each player. At every single camp they learn names of every single player, are encouraging to everyone and bring a positive experience every time.
I have also seen all of the hard work Carson puts in every single day to make this organization run. He cares about all of the players and not just their skill level. He wants each player to improve yes, but he is invested in their skills off the court as well.
I have also seen so many players improve in such a little time, Whether they are on a league team, in private lessons or come to a camp.
It’s hard to find an organization that doesn’t care about getting numbers, getting the most money but that’s what HSB and Carson bring to the Treasure Valley and the surrounding cities.
I recommend HSB to every player and parent! You seriously will not regret the time and money attending one of the many facets of HSB!

My son has attended HSB camps every summer for the past 4 years. He loves every minute of it and it’s the ONLY camp he requests to go back to every summer. Carson, Mike & the entire staff have taken a player that didn’t see much playing time to a starter that rarely is taken out of a game. Idaho Elite exclusively works with Carson and HSB to train our players in a individual, team and camp setting. He has been a great partner for taking what we teach in the X's and O's team space and translating that into better individual basketball players with his player training. This additional voice is critical to player development and HSB has always been a strong motivational partner for our program. Over the years Carson and his team have trained hundreds of our players, from 7-8 year olds and all the way up to our high school players they work tirelessly to support youth basketball players in our area. Carson and the staff are the best coaches I have ever experienced. Not only do they care about your skills they deeply want to affect you as an person both on and off the court. HSB to have the ability to speak to and hear from professional players in the Boise valley is something you can’t experience anywhere else. They gave a severely undersized guard who started playing basketball in eighth grade the opportunity and care that any other player would receive. Not only has my skills improved triple fold developing into a varsity point guard HSB camps has also helped me grow as an individual given me experiences I will have for the rest of my life and brought me into the HSB family that will help and support me through everything.
