I have been attending Idaho horse shoeing school for about three weeks now, and will be here for about eight weeks total and with the time that I’ve spent here, I can already say that I am a much more confident farrier. If you are considering taking the path to become a farrier, Idaho Horseshoeing school is going to be your best bet. Currently enrolled here. Finishing up my 16wk course. Great instructors, great experience and great education. Nice barn and living areas. There is also all day access to a gym. We currently start the day off with a 30min group workout before class and before horses arrive. The education is endless. You really get to see a lot of the best and worst parts of the industry here. This school gives you the best foundation to go forward and begin a career as a farrier.

I own a horseback riding business in Island Park, Idaho. The Idaho Horseshoeing School use my horses for their students to learn how to shoe. During the winter, they trim some and shoe some of the horses. During the spring summer and fall, the shoeing school keeps my horses shod at all times. In the summertime I run 80+ horses with my business and when the horses come back up to my ranch, after being shoed at the school, their hooves and shoes are picture perfect. I have nothing but praise for the owners and instructors of the shoeing school.
