Cannot say enough good things about this place. My step daughter has loved this place since day one. We struggled finding a daycare that she liked, or was excited to go to and we were so happy to have found this place! Her summer was full of field trips, crafts and fun snacks. I would highly recommend this place to any parent looking !

Sunny Days is a wonderful place to take your children. Dana, the owner and preschool teacher is so genuinely kind and loving, great with kids, and available and willing to help with any concerns or questions you have. All of the staff are also happy, kind, and truly care about the kids. This past school year was the first time I had ever used a daycare before and I was nervous about taking my youngest daughter to one. This daycare made me feel so comfortable and at ease because of the genuine love all of the ladies there have for your children. They have a great preschool program, go on fun field trips in the summer, serve a wide variety of healthy foods (that most kids will actually eat) to the kids, have an awesome, huge playground, and let you know how your child's day was. They also do lots of fun art projects, learn lots of songs, and occasionally watch a movie. They pulled out all the stops on mother's day, and the kids made a TON of presents/art for their moms. It was so sweet! I have nothing but love and respect for these ladies and am so grateful for how well they took care of my daughter. I'm almost sad that she doesn't need daycare anymore because of how many friends she made there and how much she loved all of her "teachers."

Overall we had a positive experience at this center. My son went here from age 6 months to almost 2 years. The staff was usually friendly and Dana and Liz were great. They are extremely flexible when they are able to be and are generally great to work with. The majority of staff were friendly and I could tell they did care about my child.

A few of my biggest reservations of here are as follows.

-The door is my buzz in entry and occasionally I would waiting long amounts of time for someone to let me in. This was usually at the beginning or end of normal pickup/drop off hours. Not usually an issue but as it can be extremely cold during the winter months sometimes it could be frustrating.

-Reports on child's day are not the norm. I requested to have my sons feeds and naps logged and a copy given to me. Though many staff were happy to do this a few staff did make me feel like doing this for me was a major inconvenience. Childcare can be extremely expensive and I didn't feel like it was unreasonable to want to know what happens with my children during the day considering the amount I pay.

-The parking lot was often icy and I almost fell multiple times. I know the focus is, and should be, the kids but it would have been nice to have someone shovel and/or salt the lot.

-Overall communication between staff and parents was not great. Dana and Liz do a great job sending out memos via the system but the day to day issues and concerns were often not communicated until the issue had escalated and only then was I notified or a note was sent home.

-There seems to be high turnover. I understand that finding good staff at a childcare center is extremely difficult. I have worked at centers myself in the past and it can be very emotionally taxing work. The turnover issue did make it difficult as a parent to know who to talk to about my questions or concerns.

-Screen time was a norm. If I wanted my child to watch tv I would just keep him at home with me and let him watch tv so I can get my stuff done. This is just personal opinion though so take it with a grain of salt.

This is by far the BEST daycare in Idaho falls and Ammon. Dana the owner is amazing and is always there! The staff is so loving and welcoming but aware. I drive past 3 daycares on my way to drop off my babies, and I would never switch them! My daughters have been going there for close to 5 years now. Best daycare facility in Ammon and Idaho Falls! Miss Dana and her staff are fun, caring, and responsible. My children love going here. Its perfect since I live on this side of town and so many day care facility's are located on the west side of town. My girls get the attention, discipline, and caring that they need while I am at work. Thank you Sunny Days

My 4 year old boy is that "busy" boy. He has always been tough to wrangle, but has a big heart. Dana, Liz, and staff don't judge you or treat your kid like anything less than a kid who needs love, structure, and attention. If you want real moms loving your baby like he is their very own, bring your kids here. Nothing but trust for these ladies. Thank you!!!!!

This day care is amazing! I would never go anywhere else!! They treat my son so amazing and he loves it there! They give me updates and keep me at peace!! If you are looking for a safe and fun environment I would highly take your kid or kids here 🙂

Great environment, amazing staff, they really work with you on every detail. I feel really confident having my boys here. They love it and always come home happy.
