Gotta say that Snake River Strings is just about the best thing to happen in SE Idaho in recent memory. Really. Shelby has assembled an amazing group of instructors on various musical instruments, and this group has created a sense of community that exceeds all expectations. Not only is the music instruction first rate, but there are so many fun activities and events. And students are not limited to a single musical style, but can learn different genres to match their interests, including classical, bluegrass, old time, Celtic, and contest fiddling. There is a reason why students from all over SE Idaho and SW Wyoming are enrolled in music lessons at SRS. They are simply the BEST!

I have been so impressed with the staff at Snake River Strings and the things they do to keep lessons engaging for students. My child has only been attending for a few months but has already made so much progress. And it’s something she always looks forward to! Gracie is so fun and really gets to know the individual needs of her students. She is very good at balancing between challenging my child to work towards goals out of her comfort zone and keeping it fun!

Snake River strings is professional and personal at the same time. The teachers are all wonderful! I love the community feeling and that my daughter is part of a group that loves music.
