The staff at this location are just the greatest. When I was desperately searching for childcare for my 5 month and 5 year old, this was the ONLY daycare that responded and made me feel heard and valued (and I called and messaged MANY places with no response back to this day).
This daycare has reasonable pricing, great hours, is clean, safe, and has amazing staff. They use an app to give you updates and pics throughout the day, and they do a lot of crafts and have a great program for all the kiddos by age. You leave knowing that your kids are in good hands. The staff here actually CARES about you and your kids! My kiddos spent about 6 months here and they will truly miss attending (leaving due to an out of state move).

Our kids (4 and 2) absolutely love it here! The classrooms are large and the teacher:kid ratio is also great. All the staff know our kids names even if they’re not in their class. They keep a great balance between structured lessons and just letting the kids be kids with free play. The outside area is huge with tons of room to run around and burn off some pent up energy. The staff and management are great at communication and respond promptly to questions. They notify us of any concerns or if supplies are running low. I don’t have anything bad to say. Our daughter often has a hard time leaving telling me “5 more minutes dad” 😊

LSA West has been a lifesaver for our family. Our kids love it here. I’m a pretty tough critic, and this center hits all the points. We have been so impressed with how communicative, caring, and professional the staff is, and also how clean it is. Our kids never fuss about going to school and always come home happy. My kids are learning a lot, I often myself saying “How do you know that?!”. The classroom sizes are huge and they have an enormous outdoor play area. I would highly recommend this center!

Excellent daycare. My son started around 6mo or so and has been there for a couple years now. The staff makes caring for the children a priority and maintain a structured but playful atmosphere. I know a large part of his development is due the the care and instruction he receives at Little Scholars. I feel lucky that the teachers and other students are a part of his life and are helping him become a well rounded little dude. The staff and administration has made the time to discuss any questions or concerns I have had with my kid as well as with scheduling and rates. It is pretty tough to find spots in a well established and secular daycare in Boise. I recommend talking a look at Little Scholars. It could be a good fit.

I’m a grandmother of a 2 and 4 year old at this daycare. It warms my heart to hear how much they love going there. As a former teacher, I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with the people and the place where their children spend so much time.

Little Scholars is an exceptional daycare that offers a warm and creative environment for children. The artwork on the walls is colorful and imaginative, created by the children themselves. The caregivers are passionate and dedicated, building genuine relationships with the children and parents. The friendly atmosphere, engaging activities, and caring staff make Little Scholars a top choice for parents seeking a daycare that prioritizes friendliness, artwork, and passionate caregivers.
Alicia and Sam were so welcoming during our tour and took the time to answer all my questions. They didn't make me feel rushed and were thorough in showing me around. The facility is clean, beautifully decorated with children's artwork. At drop off, a teacher greets you and takes your kiddos temp then walk them to their classroom. All the teachers knew my son's name.
Ashley and Missy in the babyroom are so kind. I mostly interacted with Missy and she always had a smile on her face. She is such a bright light and is truly passionate about the children. I felt very comfortable dropping my son off knowing he would be in good hands.
If you're looking for a childcare center I highly recommend!

Our son attended LSA West for a couple years. It started off great, but they aren't equipped to handle or work with exuberant kids who may have ADHD or other issues. To be fair this was during COVID with staffing issues, but most of the time they couldn't communicate what was happening when issues would arise so we could help identify triggers or coping strategies or figure out how to help as this was new to all of us.
We did our best, but without cameras or anything to show us what was happening and his behavior wasn't occurring at home we started to feel defeated and wondered how closely he was being watched since they had no details to offer prior to incidents. Eventually they threatened to give us the boot so I pulled him out. It was difficult to find a new place at the time, but luckily we were able to participate in a few centers where the staff was able to work with our son. They also threatened to kick out a friend's daughter because she was transitioning away from naps and would sing, which felt intense.
So if your child seems to be neurotypical, is mellow and doesn't sing you'll probably do just fine here. They have a big yard to play and the staff is friendly even if I'll equipped for certain temperaments. Hopefully some of these issues have resolved since Covid.
It is a shame that children who need support and socialization and guidance the most are usually the first to be dismissed and ostracized and labeled bad (my son was only just 3). This country doesn't support families.

My daughter started going at four months old when I started a job and the daycare we were on the waiting list for never contacted us (still hasn't a year after signing up). We are so grateful that we found Little Scholars. Everyone has been so communicative, and my baby loves it. They've been supportive with BLW and work hard to make sure she gets the naps and milk she needs. I wish they had a camera so I could see what she was up to during the day like the other daycare I had originally signed up for, but that is the only complaint I have!
