I find this fascinating. I’m reading one of my favorite music artist’s autobiography books, “Raffi, the life of a children’s troubadour” after I had ordered it from Amazon. I look on the top of the book pages to find that this book I bought was held at this library, and now it’s in my hands as I read in in Sarasota Florida! Thank you for holding onto this book and keeping it in such good condition for so long. I’m grateful!📚💛

This library used to be the primer library in the area but under current leadership, it is slowly falling apart due to neglect.

There are good things this library has to offer, the graphic novel section is fantastic, audio books and DVDs are well stocked too. The book selections are great for all levels of reading.

However the complaints I have carry a large influence on the score because they are so easy to fix.

Examples of terrible leadership:
The elevator to the second floor has been out of order for nearly a year. I was here in March and it was out of order and now in October it is still out of order. I don't know when it broke down but this building no longer meets the needs of our ADA residents.

The men's restroom on the first floor is and is always disgustingly filthy. There is a film on the floor that could be removed if they had a custodial service or employee clean it but as you've seen in other examples of places around town, Pocatello does not like to keep clean.

I checked out the upstairs restrooms as well and to no ones surprise they are disgusting too.

I dont know who is in charge of the library it seems current city leadership needs to get this facility cleaned and fixed as our tax money pays for those items.

Marshall Public Library is Modern, is huge. They offer tons of children's books and activities. I personally am love the collection of Mother Earth News Magazines they have. All the way back from the 70's. But the art, design, and offerings can't be beat. The librarians are also helpful and kind, restrooms are clean and wheelchair accessible including an elevator.

The librarians are great! They always do what they can to help you find what you need. They also take the time to be inclusive of those with disabilities.
